Getting whooped as a child isn't a silver bullet to stop them growing up and turning into convicts, which is why your hypothesis doesn't make sense. Discipline is what's relevant here and you can instill discipline without resorting to "spankings". It's 2025, I don't even know why we're having this conversation anymore.

Yea you shouldn’t hit your kids at all. You should be able to command they attention without it. Bad parents make excuses for this and say sometimes they need them. That reflects them as a parent and they child behaviors reflect them as well. My kids get scared if I even raise my voice. But spanking your daughter is super inappropriate anyway. Yea it’s your child but I teach my daughter body boundaries with men so she don’t get confused. Why teach your child how to endure violence. It’s wack. Your daughter end up with a man who beat her ass thinking it’s not that serious

real close to bringing that shyt back with my baby boy, but taking away his phone is usually enough motivation to get some akrite for him.

I only got 2 boys, but I'm not gon lie, it was probably a good thing not having a daughter. She'd get away with murder with me. My wife would kill her tho if needed
It's one thing making an argument based upon someone speaking on how to raise a child without having a child of their own (which has its merits). But it's another thing entirely bringing up someone having an abortion and ridiculing them for 'killing a baby' and therefore having no directive on what constitutes appropriate disicipline for a child.
In 20-30 years time, all the generations* that swear by whoopings won't be around to pass their backwards shyt on anyway.
And let's be honest here, having a child doesn't equal being mentally capable enough to raise one. If that were the case, we'd be living in an utopia right now.
