This ain’t bump in the whip? Nas opened this goofy’s FIRST SOLO ALBUM up.

U picked him up for this shyt. shyt is a lazy take. Let’s say for Illmatic it was that way. But why the fukk nikkas act like Nas is only worth one album when mentioning him? IWW straight thru God’s Son was filled with nothing but whip shyt.

Strange as he called Nas and Jay the GOATs before. I guess this is his favourite 5 but he considers Jay and Nas the overall GOATs?

I believe these are his favorites to what he was listening to coming up, Nas was a hot artist and JD was a hot producer/songwriter at the time, not out of the ordinary that they both wanted each other for a song for radio play or just bc both were "hot artist" at the time.

I don't understand JD sometimes. He makes these out of touch statements that make him look out of the loop. If we didn't understand Nas, I am scratching my head trying to understand why JD put Nas on a Jagged Edge remix. "Turn It Out" from his own album has already been mentioned. If that wasn't enough, he made another song with Nas ("I've Got To Have It"). Monica is from the A and she loves Nas.

Nas opened his first solo album fam. It basically contradicts the REASONS he gave. If he just said Nas ain’t one of his favorites that would be a different story. But him speaking on bumping in the whip and basically reducing Nas to some backpack complicated lyricist that don’t make bumpable shyt was unfair.

Dungeon Family was on the same vibe as Nas. As an ATL nikka, I will say his though, just like in any city, there are dumb rap fans and smart rap fans. The dumb rap fans in the South are just a little bit more ignorant than in other regions, but that's the south in general. It is more backwards than the other regions.

Read the last sentence of the post you quoted. Breh mentioned the wrong album. Nas went double platinum in 1996 with It Was Written and he's saying it didn't sell well out the gate. :russ:

stfu.. You dont even know what album you talking about.

Your bad taste in rap music is subjective and I won't debate you, but the bolded is not a true statement.

:gucci:

It was written sold 268K the first week and went double platinum in three months.

I'll take my lumps on my post but I meant "Illmatic"....

Nah that shyt just wasn't up to par. It was written is easily the most overrated album in hip hop history. There is a reason it didn't sell well initially it was garbage

It Was Written debuted at Number 1 and spent FOUR STRAIGHT WEEKS at the top spot. The fukk you talking about it didn’t sell well initially :gucci:
