I went to the Job Corp in Pittsburgh before I went to college and then the Navy

It was a great program. I know a lot of people who went to Job Corp and got valuable skills

This fatchick tried to trap me when I was there. One day in class she pushed me into a broom closet and started kissing me and told me to come to her house that night. A young Gen was :picard:

But I showed up that night  She was a single mom. We start to get busy and I pull out a condom. She was like nah we don’t need that. I was :childplease: I told her I insist

She then broke down and said she knew I was a good guy and she thought if I got her preggo I would help her with her kid and my new kid. :sadcam:

I was fukking mortified
That's sad as fukk. Jesus.

I listened to a true crime doc about this girl who was killed and tortured in a job corp program in Kentucky

Felt bad for her, she didn't do anything was just trying to finish the program and get back to her family.

I didn’t get the full Job Corp experience. I drove there everyday. I did not stay on campus. I always heard stories that after I left for the day and drove back to the Burbs shyt was off the fukking chain.
We were low key hating on the ones who could go home after classes were over.
:mjcry:

It was some students who were able to get their own apartment during the transition period. That was whole other level of fukkery

I think I have a hack/solution. I haven't tried this yet but hopefully someone more knowledgeable can correct any mistakes I've made. The only downside to this plan is that you need money for the first part.

Edit: 0) Get a GED if you haven't graduated high school. Then take advantage of some of the free/low-cost state-based workforce programs available. When you get a job from that use the money to pay for school.

1) Get a bachelor's degree in 6 months: As everyone knows it typically takes 4 years to get a bachelors but there are ways to get one much quicker. You have to attend a competency-based institution where they simply let you take a test , and that determines if you've pass or failed the class. One school that comes to mind is WGU. There are others though. (Warning: If you go to an online school it HAS to be accredited otherwise the degree won't mean shyt)

2) Use your degree to get into a uniform service: There exist 8 uniformed services -- 2 of them are non-military.

You can either try to commission into the military. The army is recommended since it's the largest organization which means more opportunities. There are also more black people in positions of power (colonels, generals) in the army than racist ass Navy/AF.

Or if military service scares you then you can try to commission in the 2 non-military services: NOAA (they're like Nasa but they study earth's atmosphere) and Public Health.

3) You can either stay in uniform service or use that as a stepping stone for other federal agencies (FBI, CIA, NSA, Nasa, Homeland Security, State Department)

Every single day, Trump admin. cuts programs that help people pull themselves up.

As I said before, its clear that they are steering Americans to fill the jobs that the undocumented do/did. Economy wouldnt function the same once he boots out a significant number of them and discourages others from coming here. So govt. creates conditions where Americans will replace those people.

People who thought that wages for those jobs would rise once the illegal immigrants were gone were misguided.
Nobody isn't doing that, they can pull that shytvall the want.

Hungary a country these folks strive to be like is currently having issues with their birth rate.

Donated to Change.org and a few FB petitions the other day if people are interested.

Not sure how much it helps, but I plan on advertising it on my FB later on as well as I’m still cool with a ton of people from my time there. Like we speak weekly type of cool.

JC is a great program from the Department of Labor with some flaws like anything in government, but It shouldn’t be cut… if anything it should be advertised more with this administration anti-education bullshyt.

Between Trump doing this and pardoning evil folks and the woman that said that everyone dies one day defending Trump's bill, we about to hit a fever pitch of these folks getting fccked up.

Also,

I know a lot of JC couples that actually lasted this long too. Multiple kids, families, doing well.

I would recommend it to any young person who is lost or stuck trying to figure out a direction in life. And the program costs you nothing either, they pay you.

My boy and I actually thought about going back and working as instructors once we retired.
