One time I had a job interview about an hour away, Got up and got ready like usual, everything good. I was gonna kill this shyt. Soon as I left the house, my belt buckle broke. :damn: I had no alternative and it was like 7am so none of the stores were open. Now I'm panicking :damn: I was calling my homies and none of them picked up. F it, I gotta go.

So I went to the interview with my hands in my pockets to keep my pants from falling off my ass. I'm sagging in a got damn suit :mjlol:

Get inside and they seat me immediately :whew:

After the interview they say "come with me so I can show you around the office" I'm on some :whoa:

I had to keep my hands in my pocket the entire time. Awkward as fukk

I didnt get a call back but after the interview I wasnt feelin the job anyway because the pay didnt match the job description online :wow:

Have 1 belt brehs

they probably thought you were the most relaxed dude of all time :wow:

Damn, I forgot the details.

I believe I found a job on Craigslist (yea).

It was marketing or something.

The ill thing is when I actually got there; The office was dusty.

The "secretary" was just some gal on a laptop on a desk.

There were other ppl there. We actually went to McDonald's to do a group interview.

These MFs was talking about doing marketing for MLB teams. Nobody was more than 3 years older than me. Dude interviewing me didn't even have on a suit.

They never asked for money. When I did the post interview call, no answer. Shady.

My only bad interview was for a finance job for a city. The job application was :mindblown: and had a bunch of long essay questions. I had some down time at work so I said :manny: and started writing. I get a letter back saying I was one of a few people who had been selected for the interview process. I took a day off work because it was in the middle of the day and go and it's an awkward panel interview with three people. They say they all have 10 questions and that everything is being recorded and videotaped. It started off ok but as I tried to engage them in conversation and/or ask follow up questions, they didnt know the answers and said that they didn't really work directly with the department I was interviewing for and that I would need to save those questions for one of the upcoming rounds. These were just random clerks who got pulled out of their regular time wasting to ask questions while the people actually in charge of hiring watched at their convenience. I asked how many rounds of interviews there was going to be and they weren't sure. The questions started repeating almost verbatim because they all had the same canned questions. I asked if they wanted me to answer again or reference the previous one and they said that it is recorded so I should answer again even if the answer is the same. It was basically like having a conversation with Siri. I told them I didn't have time to come back multiple times due to my work schedule and never heard back from them again :hubie:

I've always shined in interviews. However, I interviewed with this black lady, she was eating Popeyes during the interview. I talked about my adjunct professor job and she wanted some I found in that. I sent her some after the interview, thinking it would help. It didn't. Like most of the interviews I have, it's immediately known that I'm smarter than you.

I have so many.
I had an interview last year where the person who interviewed me didn't want to do it. When I showed up at the office he suddenly was on an overseas call. He had 2 people from the office interview me instead, after awkward questions I asked the 2 people was he going to interview me , they said no. He was expecting a white guy.
When I left I email the interviewer if I would get a follow up he said yes of course when he gets back from China. I played along and said I know you lying and I'm on your Facebook . I said I will see you again one day. Guy closed his whole account down.
Another time I had a great interview with a gallery, I was to have a follow up interview with the president of the company, on the day of the interview she emailed me come earlier. So I show up early, the secretary tells me she is stuck in traffic, my radar went up when they put in a dark closed off area instead of the waiting area. Reason being , the president was already there but didn't want to meet with me. Again expecting a white guy. We finally meet and it was over in less than 2 minutes. She didn't ask me a single question just that she was busy and would reschedule. Never heard from her again.

I was interviewing for a job and I had over 5 years experience in that field. The fukkin jew tells me he could start me at $10. I just looked at him like he was retarded. He said don't worry there's plenty of over time. I just got up and left
did the job require a degree?

I feel like the number you called post interview either had a rap song on the voicemail or as their ringback tone

did the job require a degree?

Constructing jobs don't require degrees
It goes by experience and knowledge
Some companies do send you for training
You usually start at 15 with no experience
And get a raise every 6 months
Raises vary between .50 and $2

Depending on the exact field you're in you could get a jump from $20 to $35 once you complete your 4th year

Sometimes, depending on the job site we're on, our hourly rate is paid by the city. In those cases we jump to $55 to $105 an hour in my field.

By senior year of high school I was only taking 2 classes a day and going home early so I decided to pick up a part time job. My homie since middle school had been working at this restaurant and told me they needed people, said I should apply. I applied and used him for a reference.

The place had a 2 interview process. The first guy I interviewed with was cool af. After we were done, told me straight up "Yeah man we're most likely gonna hire you. You seem like a good dude and we need some help in here. The last cats we had workin for us was all fukked up." Told me to come back the next day at 3:30 for my follow-up interview and ask for him. I'm thinkin shyt is set.

I get there the next day and I'm like "Excuse me, is Greg here?". They tell me he's not there. Immediately I'm like :stopitslime:. Tell them why I'm there they tell me to give them a few minutes. Finally they send this chick out to do my interview. I basically gotta start from scratch and regurgitate yesterday's interview plus the new questions. At some point I let her know my homie D told me about the job. Soon as I say his name she looks up like :demonic:.

I walk away from the interview with a shytty vibe. The next day I'm telling my homie about the situation and as soon I tell him who did my 2nd interview he's like "Bruh...that bytch hates me!! :damn: You probably not getting that job."

Needless to say I didn't get a call back. Moral of the story: Be careful about in-house references, especially if it's someone whose not in an authority position. You never know what a person's reputation is in that company.
