Why people acting like the vp even really matters.
trump going to lose but not by much its going to be a fight

Because Biden may not complete the four years, which would make Kamala the future president :lupe:

In 2011, the Supreme Court ruled in Brown v. Plata that California’s prisons were so overcrowded that they violated the Constitution’s prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment. Three years later, in early 2014, the state was ordered to allow non-violent, second time offenders who have served half of their sentence to be eligible for parole.

By September 2014, plaintiffs in the class-action lawsuit were back in court, accusing California of slow-walking the process, which lawyers for Harris’ office denied.

And folks are saying she changed? When, just last week? :wow:

SurveyUSA conducts market research for corporations primarily, of course they'd rock with the California policy maker :dead:

She was the leading candidate at one point and didn't even make it to 2020. But now we gotta here about how popular she is when she couldn't even outlast Amy? Help me understand.

I mean, there are more polls that just from SurveyUSA.

Biden's VP pick: 72% of Democrats want a woman of color on the ticket

And bonus - the Democratic base wanted Biden to pick a black or brown woman. It's not pandering if that's what the base wants.

Re: Your response about Harris dropping out early, she had no funding and no way through a clogged field that Biden basically took control of after the all-white states got out of the way and black folks started voting, but I will say that if she was in when South Carolina voted, who knows what happens?

And again, you can ignore the polling if you want by talking about agendas and insinuating that the polling numbers are made up, but on the real, it's just your feelings that are leading you to these conclusions.

The truth is that this is a board mostly of under-40 black people, and we tend to think a lot differently than the older black voters in the traditional Democratic base, much less the white and brown voters in that base. Which is fine, but let's not get it twisted; this board doesn't have the pulse on mainstream black political thinking, which is still dominated by black folks in the Democratic Party.

This is a post from someone who doesn't understand polling because the 2016 polls were right. Trump's win was within the margin of error.

You can ignore reality if you want, though. I prefer using statistics to feelings when I make a statement about something like this.

Since this is your claim, can you show me that ALL POLLS were within the margin if error? The ones I remember had her winning big time (big time meaning more than five percentage points).

Moving on, speaking of "feelings" I'm noticing of the feelings of many black women in my circle and social media...many are not excited either (which I actually found shocking). Certainly this is but a mere blip going by your sacred statistics, but still.

I feel the same way as you.. Kamala comes across really fake to me.. if I’m going to get excited about a candidate, at least make me believe you are genuine, lol.

Biden puts his foot in his mouth wayyy too much..

I used to think this would be a sure thing for democrats, but each day, I’m getting more and more skeptical.
its like if you work in a office setting

She gives off that, "im the one thats gon smile in your face and snitch on you to the boss" vibe:sas1:

And i say that as a man. So i know alotta women are peeping game

She was not my pick. But you know a lot of Black Men have a problem with being held accountable. I didn’t want any her as VP but most of them hate anybody that does this same shyt they do...... date outside.

Black men having a problem being held accountable? It aint got nothing to do with her locking up poor BLACK WOMEN cause their kids are truant, huh? It aint got nothing to do with her declining the use of body cams for cops? It aint got nothing to do with her withholding evidence that would have freed an innocent man? Stop projecting with that gender divide babble.

Yea black mothers & minor drug charges :mjlol:

the same lady that admitted that we need prison labor . nikkas always want to make jokes until their own family members are caught in the crossfire :russ:
I'm not one of the those people who believes the top boss controls every single obstecable in big organizations.
The prison labor thing was not a policy of her office, it was one or two individuals of thousands or tens of thousands employees who argued for it in court.

This is why I don't discuss politics with people who don't argue with facts or don't even care about them.

I never liked Kamala just as a person because she seems very boring and technocratic, i.e. she has no real vision. Probably very good as an AG, CEO or whatever, but not as a leader.
But all the other fugazi shyt, where people are twisting stories and words to make her or any other politician look bad is just :russell:

Same thing with Trump too really, I really hate the guy, one of few politicians I've ever really really hated. But I don't follow media reporting about him unless it's financial media because there's too much bs to filter through. Like why am I wasting time discussing shyt that's not true :dahell:
I'd rather discuss how the state AGs office works.

Yeah, I had a public post on facebook on her that ended up going viral, which I had later taken down, once it had seemed that she was leaving the race. I really do truly hate the hoe, but even as someone that has taken pride in always voting with my conscience in the prior elections, I will still be casting my vote for Biden this year as much as it pains me to do so. This is literally a life and death situation for many people's loved ones with this pandemic going on, and therefore I have to put my principals aside and admit that it's bigger than me at this point. I never trusted this fallacy that we live in a democratic society prior to this, and was raised to believe the presidential race was a "false friend", but now I'm really washing my hands of anything and anyone that is backed by the DNC once this is over. Unfortunately, it's obvious that Biden is on his way out physically and mentally, and there's a very good chance that Kamala may end up landing his position sooner than later. However, at least I know that we'll have a full administration leading the charge against this virus if biden is elected, rather than having nothing but a neurotic dictator at the helm, who is only guiding us with his sole interests in mind.

The poll of polls at places like 538 had the race within the MoE. Go look at 538, actually. The polls were right that Hillary would win the popular vote and offered the possibility of a Trump victory. Don't get the numbers that the statisticians worked with confused with the media narrative.

And your circle, I'm going to guess, isn't full of traditional Democratic voters. It's a small slice of the black electorate. I don't know what your circle looks like or who is in it, so I can only guess, but I would guess that many of the black women in your social media circle aren't reliable Democratic voters. I could be wrong, of course, but even then, your anecdotal experience, while valuable, isn't as valuable as scientific polling.
