i think i remember him praising this Just beat on his podcast..had a feeling he'd eventually rap on it.
so it was good to hear Budden over a great beat.

he still does some shyt with his delivery thats been annoying me for damn near a decade now but yeah, he killed this.

So that Mission has to be.... RAP!.... Say a nikka name and not be afraid of industry politics and being black-balled... Speak up on social issues, instead of being afraid of what industry connects will say... RAP!...

Music can be the guiding voice in this current movement...Other rappers should step up instead of finding the hottest beat with a melody to babble and repeat words over..

Bet they don't tho....these millionaires are the new house nikkas :banderas:
Basically yeah, in the simplest way of putting it "the mission" is to get everyone rapping again without the selling out or the industry politics..dude just loves rap music lol.

On a side note I know it ain't the time but I bet Budden haters have been sick on here the last 2 weeks lol, the usuals seem to be getting lost in all the praise.

We really need to get back to bars. Me and my girl saw The Roots for free in Manhattan. It was amazing. My first time seeing them. It felt good to see Black Though just spittin. Switchin up genre's with effortless transitions got me hyped.

I say that to say Joey is doing his thing. I like the fact that he doesnt give a fukk about industry politics. He put out 2 diss records and a hard hitting track speaking on some real shyt. Without compromising himself. Salute that man :salute:

Hearing Diamond in the beginning saddened me at first listen.. The track is the first time i can recall hearing Joe speak on social issues.

Watching the video took it to another level..

The video made me angry. To the point I can't watch it again, at least while I'm at work.

I don't even like Budden but there's a time and a place for everything. In a thread with a song about police brutality is not the time to ride for your boyfriend Drake. The fact that I gotta explain this to you is mind boggling. WOAT fan base in history. :snoop:

Fred.
It's funny...
Because he was in the Budden/drake dis track thread talking about how the dis didn't count because there was protests going on
