Hearing Diamond in the beginning saddened me at first listen.. The track is the first time i can recall hearing Joe speak on social issues.

Watching the video took it to another level..

The video made me angry. To the point I can't watch it again, at least while I'm at work.

You right I was just thinking I hadn't heard Joe rap like this before. I stopped messing with him though around when Padded Room came out. @H.J.Duck is there any projects I need to check out that I missed? I know you prolly gonna say all of em but what's the best ones I missed, I'll start with those.

Escape Route (REALLY poorly mixed though)
Mood Muzik 4 (4.5 for extra couple of songs)
All Love Lost (go with the deluxe version though, "Only Human" which was one of the best songs on Some Love Lost EP is on the deluxe verison)

Yeah I was shocked cuz Joe seems like a smart dude and very aware but I'm really feeling this track hopefully we get to see this side of him more in the future too

I agree that's when I used to fukk with Joe but missed out on a lot later. Dude was def in my top 5 at that point.

We really need to get back to bars. Me and my girl saw The Roots for free in Manhattan. It was amazing. My first time seeing them. It felt good to see Black Though just spittin. Switchin up genre's with effortless transitions got me hyped.

I say that to say Joey is doing his thing. I like the fact that he doesnt give a fukk about industry politics. He put out 2 diss records and a hard hitting track speaking on some real shyt. Without compromising himself. Salute that man
