if they really just finally got the paperwork done to be officially released from Shady in just 2020, then its obvious that they were on their path to slowly figuring out the comeback plan, it really doesnt matter what members of the group had said before that about the group being over previously, because at this point clearly they were back to figuring out business & paperwork for the return. So for Crook & Joell to suddenly blow the whole shyt up just a year and a half later is irresponsible and rude as fukk to their groupmates. Who cares if they didnt jump to sign the first label offer that Crook presented to them?? Maybe that deal had some good elements but wasnt an enticing enough platform for them???? He keeps talking about how there was ownership involved, and thats great, but he hasnt mentioned what label this was, might be some small time shyt that didnt really make sense all the way either. You dont just agree to sign the deal just because of one cool aspect. Plus it sounds like Royce & Joe asked to see the paperwork in writing and didnt receive that, so how did you expect them to agree to it sight unseen???? And yea, 1000% agree that Joe "financing the group" was a terrible idea too, but look, these were just their very first ideas, let it marinate and strategize until the right plans come together that everybody agrees to. Dont just blow up the whole shyt and foreclose the group just cuz your first offer doesnt meet everybody's interests yet.
anyways besides that, Royce & Joe denouncing this project is actually doing them a huge favor and giving Crook & Joell's album way more buzz and attention. Hope it turns into full out beef and they really start dissing eachother, that'll probably make for way better music than them rapping together did anyway.
