The contract actually becomes a bigger trade asset as his years wane along with getting good production. If not for Josh trying to out shoot him we coulda beat Boston. Josh fukked up game 5 with that late dumb ass shot.

No My spurs know how to draft they are one of the best doing it.
The thing is this Pop and Gm Buford not sure if OWNER **** is but the other 2 are the primary one's who make the decision on who to draft and the scouts are the one's who come back with the info.

Ferry helps out but whether or not he learned anything I can't say

Josh Smith was a much better player for us in the playoffs than Joe. Josh shot a higher FG%, FT%, more rebounds, more assists, same amount of points, more blocks, and for 6 million bucks less.

There's are something else that people point out to ignore the fact that he's not that good of a prospect. Yea he has talent and lenght but that's only half the battle. Where instances where he took over big games? He had a talented team around him, you would think he would have flourished but he ain't do Nuthin but showed flashes, and that aunt shyt. HAWKS did good by passing on him.
