Honestly I think Philly shouldn't even be playing him if he's going to look like that. Put on a plan to try and build him back up before putting him on the court. I think they have enough talent to weather storm. He always starts off slow historically and he hasn’t played a game for real since February. If he looks like this 15 games in then yeah..it’s dark but I’m giving him grace.
He was sluggish but man Threatt I almost wonder how much of it is a mental hurdle for him. He had numerous possessions with Jaylen Brown or Hauser on him when he didn’t even call for the ball.Honestly I think Philly shouldn't even be playing him if he's going to look like that. Yeah the mental hurdle is a lot to get over. That's part of the process of building him back up. Give him more time to get comfortable on that knee. IMO he needs to get that confidence back before stepping on the court or long term could end up doing more damage to him mentally as bad games rack up one after the other. He was sluggish but man Threatt I almost wonder how much of it is a mental hurdle for him. No he needs to be back on the court and playing, all these hot takes off one game are nuts.Honestly I think Philly shouldn't even be playing him if he's going to look like that. And yet y'all will be the same people in here criticizing him if he goes all out straight out the gate and hurts himselfThis video is sad as fuhk.
He looks like a guy who knows internally that he's got maybe 40-50 "jumps" left in him, and he doesn't wanna waste them until it's a game that "matters".
Cooked.

There's a huge difference between just having a bad game or just being rusty versus just looking physically not ready. Even in the preseason game when driving for a layup he had to throw up a floater when a year or two ago it was a dunk. Forcing him out there now will only prolong him getting closer to his normal self. Why not give him time to try and regain that bounce without adding wear and tear of the games. Long term taking time bringing him back would be best for the team.No he needs to be back on the court and playing, all these hot takes off one game are nuts.
