For one, the quote from me had nothing to do with his last debate or any debate.
Two, Trump isn't going to wash anyone on a debate stage. His record is trash and that performative nonsense he loves so much is only going to work on people who already support him. I don't expect Biden to wash Trump either but I do expect him to come out looking the better of the two.

I'm not sure it matters anyway. Trump did not out debate Hillary and still won.

goddamn. my old statement was harsh

i really cant predict it. bernie was way too soft on him, so that isnt a good enough test. trump wont keep saying "my friend, joe" every 5 minutes like bernie did. joe really coasted and failed up, if we are being honest.

joe does look more alert these days, somehow. i think they are both on stimulants but who knows. i also read joe recently did an interview on latin television with no teleprompter, so he is getting himself in fighting shape while trump is out here saying crazy things about not accepting election results. i seriously doubt trump is doing debate prep, and he is the one who is going to get all the tough questions since america is on fire and the buck stops with him.

I’ve been watching Trump lie so long... i just dont know if facts still matter like they used to.

Trump doesn't present the same matchup problems as the previous democratic candidates.

4 years ago no one had tape on trump so no one really knew how to deal with his style at the debate. But now we have 4 years of tape on the guy and he is absolutely a broken record. He gains momentum in a large crowd of supporters but thanks to his shoddy leadership he won't even be able to benefit from his cult cheering him on.

Back to the broken record part, the guy literally gives the same answer over and over again. Best president for black americans since lincoln. Best stock market and unemployment. Everyone being against his china travel ban. Best death numbers during covid. Added more jobs then any president (while forgetting to mention how many were lost during the pandemic). He has a plan for healthcare that he's 2 weeks away from finishing, Etc, etc...

This is a guy you can come into the debate with a script full of rebuttals because he will always run the same plays.


4 years ago republican candidates along with Clinton tried to out intellectual trump but the problem was that most voters didn't understand the number of whatever argument they laid against him. Trump's counter to that was to just hit them with a dumb joke/nickname that everyone would get. Little Marco Rubio, crooked Hillary, and so on and so on.

This time around trump has a blooper reel that rivals George Dubya. A sleepy joe barb can be be countered with a quip about drinking bleach.

If the Joe that debated Paul ryan shows up that night then trump is done with the independents.

whats funny is that trump wants a drug test when hes on drugs himself and biden wants a fact checker, but if there was a fact checker in his debate vs bernie, he wouldve been called out for lying maaad times. just give biden whatever he was on in the bernie debate, biden only has to make it through the debate without sundowning, he doesnt need to win, just make it a debatable and he wins the public perception, very low bar for biden vs trump. give him a vyvanse
