Agrees to get squashed for the greater good :wow: while you got :fif: Hoegan catching feelings like a bytch because he was called grandpa when he really old enough to be one :heh:

I never gave a shyt about hulkamania, always came off as corny :manny:
It was perfect for the era in which it happened. When fans decided it was corny and wanted to move on, Hogan reinvented himself as a completely different and equally legendary character to extend his career and further solidify his all-time status.

Cena, meanwhile, has been corny from the jump. Fans grew tired of him just a few years after his debut and have been begging the WWE to move on for nearly a decade. Rather than follow the #1 rule of business, "Give the consumer what they want," they've turned the entire thing into an ongoing troll of the audience while continuously trying to fit a stale, square peg into a round hole, further solidifying Cena's status as a one-trick pony and abject failure.

I respect Cena cause he's carried the company for 10 years and the man works as hard as anyone, but I can't say he's one of the GOATs by ANY means. The fact is that he's carried the company because they didn't have anyone else and the WWE has propped him up specifically for that reason. It's easy to sell that much merch to kids when you've been kept over artificially and rarely lose.

You can say Cena is a good guy, reliable, a hard worker, over, a draw... he is those things but despite what WWE and even some wrestlers like Stone Cold THINK, Cena is not in the top 10 or even 25 of all time.

The only time Cena gets mainstream attention is when he's headlining Mania with The Rock, and that is because he is not one of the GOATS and no matter what anyone says he will never be.
