How nice of Cena to put over someone who was already booked to carry the title into mania. :mjlol:

People so accustomed to Cena fukkery that everytime we don't get it he deserves credit? It's like praising an arsonist for not starting a fire for a month.:camby:

There have been plenty of top guys who bytched and moaned about passing the torch and Austin even left the company over it... Give cena props for protecting the product and not just himself

:camby:Austin walked out because they planned on having that happen in a king of the ring qualifying match not even advertised the previous week. That match had a lot of money to be made and they had no interest in trying to get a number out of it. Brock himself has said he agreed with Austin. That's as stupid as if they wanted him to go over rock unadvertised in 2002 instead.

blah blah excuses dude ran off like a bytch...even Austin said he regrets leaving like that...he had a bytch fit about laying down for Hall at mania too all because he was scared of getting outpopped by Hogan and then later on regretting letting Rock have that moment with Hulk at mania

in fact every single time a top star was protecting themselves they had similar excuses as to why they didn't put the other guy over...like Hulk saying yoko was hotter than Bret...in hindsight Bret got a better moment by beating Yoko at 10

So you don't find it stupid that the plan was to waste this match? This and the hogan stanning you had to throw in is why you're the WOAT :camby:

Hogan giving the win to Goldberg on Nitro didn't hurt Goldberg...there was money left on the table but again Austin's ego couldn't handle losing on the weekly show ...that being said of course there would be money left on the table...but it would have been a surreal memorable moment for Lesnar's come up

WWE always leaves money on the table

That's not "getting his win back" considering that match was 2 years before their SummerSlam one..

Guess I should have rephrased my question. Has Cena ever lost to someone and never won against that person?

From earlier posts it seems like Bryan may be one of the few, mainly due to Cena's injury.

Imagine booking this ending with top wrestlers from the past?

"Kevin. Bray's going over and he's pinning you."

"Steve, we're gonna have Bray go over you and he's going into Mania as champion."

"Hulkster, you're getting pinned by Bray tonight."

"Bray's going into Mania as champion. You okay with getting pinned Paul?"

(Don't think he was hard to deal with on going over but since I found the gif)

"Ric you're not getting #17 tonight, we're planning a program at Mania with you and Psychosis"

Goldberg sold out the Georgia dome for a Nitro while WCW was in a war with WWF that they started losing. This wasn't that. Austin is last in line, not first in line. You know that.
