If there was no money to be made in music anymore, corporations wouldn't be buying up catalogs for hundreds of millions :francis:
At the same time, selling your catalogue for 200.000.000 isn't the same as signing your publishing away for a 100.000 Dollar advance a chain and a fancy car like artists used to do in the 90's. You can use those 200 Mio and invest them in something that will generate income :yeshrug:
Could’ve used that $100,000 and put it all in Apple stock in the 90s :yeshrug:

Or what happens in the real world is the kids fight like hell over control then they each start selling their parts individually because they have no attachment to the art other than monetarily. Grandkids wouldn’t come close to controlling anything of note.
Pretty sure Coli had a thread with a bunch of people :mjcry:because Let's Go Crazy was in a fukking Capital One commercial.
