Because he talks about being one of the "best" point guards and having the best back court, talks about other players contracts, and All Star snubs...John Wall is 25 and a pretty low key guy...outside the club, at least. I don't know why he's expected to be such a big leader.
Yeah the coach/GM need to go and I agree I can't see Wall leading a team to a championship he needs another leadership guy. Paul Pierce was just what that team needed mentality wise.I agree the front office and coaching have been there past their welcome. Way past their welcome. But Wall has never been a great leader, and this isn't going to help his cause any. That team truly needs a Paul Pierce type to hold the team together. Wall is too volatile and somewhat moody, Beal has the potential to be a good leader but he's always hurt, and no one else garners that respect.
Not looking good in the Capitol right now, but getting rid of the coach and GM is a step in the right direction
This right here. When you call out other guys contracts, and act like you're a top tier point guard, it has to be about leadership and performance. You have to get your team to the post season.
Wtf is wall not a point? Since when is passing the ball a sin? What started this? If you have a player that's wide open of you seen him hit that same shot in practice a million times and your coverd of the game plan if to stop you...... What's wrong with passing the ball if that's one of the things your good at? fukk I hate hero ball .... The other team mates don't count or get paid right?I know neither of them are front runners. All of those things you mentioned are fine, but that's not the end-all for leadership. Wall has poor body language at times and defers in the clutch.
PG13 and Lowry have the respect of their teammates because they've proven when it comes down to it, they'll step up and win you games or give it all they've got. They'll live with losses being placed solely on their shoulders.
Wall passes the ball off to the other guys and shies away from the big moments. I've seen this repeatedly. Pierce and Beal hid his lack of intangibles last year imo. Outside of the "Big Bs bytch!" I can't remember big shots or clutch moments from Wall. As I've said before in another thread, if you're down down 12 and want to cut it to 4, give it to Wall. If you want to win, give it to someone else. And I am a fan off Wall, this is my fair criticism
Paul pierce was the their leader/ go to guyWhat happened here? How did this collapse happen so fast? This team is the biggest disappointment in the entire NBA
So it falls on player leadership... Whose the leader of that wiz team?Without the coaching

I understand the type of player he is and I get that, but Chris Paul is the same guy. And when it's winning time he ain't trusting Otto Porter or Gortat to win a game. When you have ability and talent like Wall you can't be okay passing off when it's clutch time. Especially when there's no one on your team (minus Beal) who can score like him.Rare from u but not a good analysis
Wall is a pure point playmaker who can put up points. Not the other way around.
Scoring should not be his focus. He keeps the Defense honest enough to attract gravity and find guys that's literally his best strength. And he does it very well. He needs a go to like scorer to replace a Paul Pierce.
A cj McCollum / Rudy Gay type
