I think Wall was fortunate enough to get the traditional recovery time. He may not be looking like this had he tried coming back the previous year.

Brandon Jennings said a few years back that first year back is always the toughest. Taking off a at least 1 year and 6 months to 2 years may be the best thing to do.

Still early to really judge him but if he and Durant both do well, it's a good sign for NBA with Achilles injury.
They both took a lot of time off thanks to the pandemic. They were able to build their strength up.

Also Wall and Durant didn’t tear their Achilles in their jumping leg.

I mean if you watch him you can judge him now he still has his burst and everything but I’ll let at least half the season play out before I start going crazy
