It depends on you
Take the asvab first and come back in the thread and ask.
or try to go officer (not sure if that’s possible since you don’t have a degree)
And everyone hollarin “IT” and “Intelligence” when honestly, most of y’all aren’t going to qualify or have the aptitude/patience for IT.
IT isn’t exactly HARD, but it isn’t easy, and especially don’t go CTN if you’re not mentally ready and dedicated to spending 90% of your career infront of computers logically troubleshooting shyt.
There are other jobs out there that are easier that will give you the same pay, same clearances, same job opportunities outside, etc.,
LS is one (storekeeper, shopkeeper, or supplies for you other branches not Navy)
IS is another (Information specialist in the Navy. Basically analysts that are dumb as rocks and basically just the pets of officers)
Etc.
CT is a whole sub-navy jobs with like 7 different rates... some harder than others. CTN, CTO, CTR, CTM, etc.
There are linguistic rates/jobs if you speak different languages. But getting a TS/SCI or secret clearance isn’t as easy as people think either. I used to have one that required taking a polygraph
But the military is just like regular life when it comes to jobs. Take the asvab first and then go from there.
