It's a shame this game will be tarred by that drama. An all-time great playoff game. One of the best reflections of how advanced/skilled the sport has become.
There is absolutely no reason Jokic needed to be there. Game clock is stopped. It isn't like footbal(soccer) where the clock keeps running.
That was a brain fart on his part, if he gets suspended it's on him.

It wasn't about the game clock, he was trying to get the ball quick to inbound for a fast break cause there was a Suns player on the ground. Same reason the Suns' owner held the ball instead of giving it to him.
