by some people's definitions, Ron artest would beat Mike Tyson then right? Ron is probably just as crazy as mike too
This is what I'm trying to tell nikkas!!People fail to remember that tyson was almost always the smaller guy in his fights, he made a living on closing gaps, plus his handspeed was unbelievable, ive never seen a heavyweight with his power move that quickly. Also I could see jones going for a takedown and eating 3 or 4 punches mid shoot. Not many people before or since has had the skillset tyson had. I just dont see jones being able to take any punches from tyson and he could throw then from any angle damn near. Especially if.you're talking about a streetfight as opposed to outpointing a nikka. That's my opinion...
The argument could be made in either direction. A lot of mma training translates very well to a one on one street fight, there's a reason the military trains in mma. A well timed front kick to the knee for instance especially on someone who isn't trained to expect or react to it is likely a game ender because the pcl is fairly easy to take out and Jones had Rampage looking to the ref likeis this legal? After front kicking his knee in their fight, imagine throwing that towards a shorter guy with intent to maim
On the other hand in his pre prison prime Tyson wasn't some stationary brawling target and even with the reach advantage it'd be tough to stay at a safe distance against someone that fast AND relentless meaning Jones at some point is going to be in close quarters and I don't like his chances there because the margin of error is slim as fukk with how fast Tyson's combination punching was, he wouldn't be loading up just one punch uppercuts and hooks you don't see coming are the ones that turn off your utilities
-P-
actually, his chin was pretty damn good. he could take big shots, it's not like he was getting ko'd left and right. he just didn't react well to getting tagged.
But we talking about a street fight. There is nobody ringing a bell to say when to begin fighting, there is no squaring up from 8 to 10 feet away and closing the distance to begin the fight. We talking bout two nikkas arguing, possibly in each others' faces, and a fight breaking out. In THAT situation, with Tyson being a much more volatile personality, I'm betting Tyson hits Jones first and that's all it will take for him to take advantage and win the fight. However, I will give you that if Jones somehow gets a chance to wrap up Tyson or get him in a clinch then he'll win. But I don't see that being easy to do against Tyson, who can throw from any angle, has incredible feet, and who is known for his uppercut.
Again, in a ring, or in a situation in which Jon Jones can set up a takedown, he's gonna win. But a street fight is much different from a sanctioned competition. MMA fighters have lost in street fights before to regular ass dudes, it is documented. Now Jon Jones ain't no regular nikka but neither is Tyson...the difference is Tyson has been street fighting his whole life, which is a whole different animal and set of emotions and circumstances. And in a street fight, I'm taking Tyson 8 times out of 10.

I think brock lesnar would kill tyson
Man Tyson would knock out Brock Lesner bare handed right now, I mean today! Brock
defends like Rocky Balboa as soon as he stepped to Mike with the intent to fight it be over Mike would have hit em like 3 times and had his face looking like the elephant man
You actually believe the bullshyt your spewing?
Mike Tyson has said for a decade now he'd get killed by any top MMA fighter.
Mike is a huge fan of MMA and studies it like he did boxing. He used to go to Japan to watch Fedor (his favorite fighter) fight in Pride. He watches MMA all the time.
He's never once said he has a chance against them. He knows more about it then most and it's not Mike being humble.
I hate Jones with a passion but of course he'd win. Mike would be choked out in under 20 seconds. Jones would choke him out standing, no need for a takedown.
