I have the same idealogy like this dude and I am unvaccinated. The thing is I understand that being unvaccinated will limit my life right now and I am completely cool with it.
The unvaccinated people who complain about not being able to do certain stuff are the ones who are really in the wrong. They need to understand that these rules are in for the safety of others, and in the chance that you do get Covid from being unvaccinated why would you want to spread it onto others .

I'm staying my ass home until I feel comfortable enough to take the vaccine. I'm still going to be doing social distancing, mask wearking, and sanitizing daily tho.

You got an ETA on that? Is there something specific you're waiting on?

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I was uncomfortable and even after getting the vaccine, I’m still uncomfortable because I don’t know long term effects. What could possibly happen in the future with this thing

if you took the mRNA vaccine, the mrna isn't present in your system after two weeks and the spike proteins that were created were destroyed by the anti-bodies your immune system developed. no trace of the vaccine mRNA or spike proteins.. how could long-term effects manifest? if anything was going to happen, it would have happened while your immune system was responding to the vaccine. I'm not worried at all!

I respect where he coming he’s young world class athlete and since he already had it he got immunity end of story he articulated his points with grace only people mad are the folks who still think getting vaccine stops the spread which it doesn’t so it’s not protecting anyone nor harming anyone.

Nah, you threw a great portion of STEM people under the bus with the anti-vaxx statement, low-key. Engineering, IT, Medicine, architect, denying any portion of science of a pandemic is absurd.

1) Vast majority of people in his work environment are vaccinated
2) He had COVID and recovered which provides immunity: Study: COVID recovery gave Israelis longer-lasting Delta defense than vaccines
3) In chance his immunity waned, he gets tested every day regardless and will have to abide by league protocols

Whose life is he putting at risk given these facts?

Idk man. The main reason is I have been dealing with heart problems for the past 5 years, taking multiple meds for it, and with all the misconception about the vaccine, I just don't feel comfortable taking it right now.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure the vaccine in general is safe, it's just how it's gonna interact with my body that I am worried about. .

After I do more test on my body, and start my new job next year than I will take the risk
