Because the Hornets aren’t exactly all he has to pass on

thats besides the point man... i dont see any of the family owned teams going to anyone outside the family. the maras still own the giants steinbrenners yankees, the buses the lakers etc etc. also you telling me he couldnt find a coalition of black buyers???:snoop:

Jordan ain't them breh. That's my point. Those families, that's all they have. The Hornets are just a part of his portfolio.


As for your second point, I wanna see how much he sold his stake for, but Jordan I doubt would give someone a sweetheart deal just to keep it black (even though that's how he acquired it). Hornets are probably worth 1.8 billy, meaning someone had to shell out over $900 mil for this stake. Gotta find the buyer and the less people, the better.
