yea but the thing is, Freeman is just another one of those mediocre qb's who are (was) starting. making a lateral move to get Freeman is pointless right now. Teams would be better off riding out what they have and drafting a new young guy.

Dude is good enough to stay in the league though. I liken him to a Matt Moore type guy. Someone that can still play. Has good tools. knows how to play. Just not a great qb.

I don't think it's a lateral movement. Dude is still young and has had just 3 full seasons. 2 of them he threw for 25TDs+. One of them 4000 yards. He has all the tools. If the Chiefs will give up 2 2nd's for Alex Smith, why wouldn't the Vikings give up less than that for a QB with more upside?

Something is wrong in Tampa. Freeman was playing good ball. Took a dip in his 3rd year (new OC?)...then got better when Schiano got there and dipped again end of last year and this year. Something is wrong over there and I'm not going to put it all on Freeman.

My take is....the talent is there. We have seen what he can do at his best. Pair him with the right system and the right weapons and he's pro bowl caliber. To me, that's better than a Henne, Smith, Ponder, Bradford, Hoyer, etc...

Glennon = Flacco 2.0

Take that for what its worth :manny:
No, he doesnt have Flaccos poise or mobility

Only thing they have in common is they are both tall, white, and have stromg arms....thats it

I like Glennon tho but hes frail and cant move at all...dude is gonna get killed out there

He can win in this league. Coaching makes all the difference.

Look at Alex Smith. He was a loser but Harbaught came in and age him the avenue to make his team competitive.

Same thing with Quincy carter. He had a new offensive corrdinator every year then the great Parcells came in and gave him the a ur urs to success and after three straight 5-11 seasons, outta nowhere we go 10-6 with Quincy as our starting qb.

Dude is gonna go to another organization with their head on straight and beast. Lotta dudes in here basing their opinions of Freeman by looking at Fantasy numbers. :snoop:

He can be a good QB but he hasn't had any sense of normalcy in the league. He's had nothing but shytty offensive coordinators who have tried to turn him into Alex Smith. Last year Sullivan opened up the playbook and he flourished, now granted he shyt the bed at the end of the season, but we've never seen that before from him. He was always a good finisher.

If we're talking about this season, he brought us back in two games only for the coaching staff to fukk it completely up. Yes his numbers were shytty, but winning matters, and our losses are on the coaching staff.

Nothing about this season says Schiano had ANY intention about shaping or doing things to work with Freeman.

This is a guy who won't work around REVIS' skill set. What does that tell you?

:heh:
he's more worried about what he doesn't have, rather than focus on what he does have.

adapting and adjusting are foreign words to this clown.

He's one of those forcing a square peg into a round hole coaches. He never had ANY intention of working with Freeman.
