the real ? is how many years are the Hawks gonna waste with a prime Horford playing out of position before he ask for a trade...and Al seems like a real team player but everyone has to look out for themselves career wise....

J smoove is hella exciting to watch and has the necessary skills to take his game to the next level....but man his discipline and bball IQ is out of control...He just needs to leave his hometown and get a brand new start, the rockets have young pieces they can bargain with(especially Parsons) and they need a 4....I dont know about there cap space but that would be a sick startin 5

nikkas really believe Horford still soft ass is the truth huh?
Josh> Al everyday.
Atlanta gonna let Josh go, and then nobody's coming in the off-season. Typical Atlanta sports.

:scusthov: don't want him. I'd rather move KD to the 4 than bring in Josh Smith. Plus we already got Russy who gets his & "takes away shots" from KD, don't need Smith firing bad shots on top of that.

Why would you put KD's skinny ass at the 4? :comeon:

Josh Smith has shown he can bang with 4s on a regular basis. Plus he is player that you wouldn't need to run plays for. He can get in where he fits in and still be productive. It also makes y'all even more dynamic on defense because you get rid of a slow and non productive Perkins.

If it were possible, I don't see why you shouldn't want him on your squad.

Like I said in the other J-Smooth thread that he is not a max player and they should trade him now instead of waiting for the off-season. He is either going to walk away for nothing or get seriously overpaid by the Hawks.

J-Smooth to the Lakers for Pau.:lawd:

I'd pay him and put a clause in his contract that voids that shyt if he takes more than 5 jumpers outside of 15 ft in a season.

:salute: they need to implement something like this on all contracts..

maybe not a complete void but docked pay or something.

:ehh: He hasn't showed it much recently, but he literally has all the tools and can play and guard practically every position, might be the best defender at the 4 currently, he can handle the ball, he is practically like a more athletic AK47, but if he only knew how to play as a team player like him though. If only this nikka could stop shooting those 3's and long 2's :snoop: You can have him taking 1 or 2, but a healthy dose of long range shots for Smith is really bad for a team. If Roy Hibert can make the MAX, Josh Smith definitely can make that type of money. Right now, he isn't a max player, but put him with a coach that will chew him up for taking those dumbass 3's and hold him accountable, and have him be a defensive stopper, get his points in transition, and let him do all the simple things, than Smith will realize his potential imo.

Our most effective lineup this year has been KD at PF & Ibaka at C. You wouldn't need to run plays for Smith, but he thinks he is so much better than he is, so he might cause problems if you don't run plays for him. Perk isn't really an issue to me on defense 90% of the time, it's his inability to catch the ball & go up in a decent motion that kills me. Perk's defense is bend don't break. He isn't shutting anybody down but he makes it harder on people by forcing them out of the paint.

Don't get me wrong if we could get Gortat from Phoenix or Jefferson from Utah, Perk can kick rocks.

So he's basically saying he's not trying to win, just in it for the money cuz any team that maxes him out ain't competing for a ring.
