He's not a max player, but in this day and age of the NBA it wont be hard for him to find a team that will give him a max contract.
Maybe or maybe not. He would likely be asking for money that comparable players are getting. If players truly got paid their worth there is really no telling what that number would be. All "max" contracts do is give players, agents, and front offices an excuse not to think and truly negotiate. Beyond that, the idea of "max" contracts just looks extra silly when you have nikkas who clearly aren't "max" players not only asking for them but getting them.
I completely agree with the last part. If a team is willing to pay it I can't be mad at him.

You've got to be kidding me. If ATL gives him this contract then they haven't learned from the Joe Johnson fiasco at all. Dude is worth maybe 10 million a season but he needs to be more efficient. Make some more free throws and have some better shot selection..
