I think I'm one of the few people who didn't think that was too bad. He got an offensive rebound off a free throw that he had no business grabbing. And instead of being credited for hustling he is the scapegoat for them losing.

He was right under the basket and forgot the score. He's a professional player. He has to know the situation. George Hill missed the free throw, but Smith had a chance to win it. The Internet makes his antics cute when in reality he's a dumbass.

no one had cavs winning this series, but jr's fukk up removed any doubt that would have creeped in if cleveland had stolen this game. type of loss that can break a team's spirit.

hill should have made his free throws.

refs should not have changed that charge on kd to a blocking foul.

that said, lebron's performance was one for the ages. can't blame him if he leaves. he brought cleveland a title and made them perennial contenders. can't really ask him for more.

no excuse for jr's lack of mental awareness during crunch time of the nba finals. embarrassing.

Cavs scoring after JR got the rebound wasnt a sure thing, and Hill making it wasnt a sure win either. Warriors had 4.2 secs and a timeout.

Jrs mistake was dumb, but he didn't fukk up a sure win.

This. Yes, he fukked up and if they lose the series he will carry the blame from the people, but all in all the play going the right way could have had the same outcome. It would have been better if Hill had made his free throws. shyt happens, but the fukkery is fun to watch.

Making that freethrow was their best shot at that point imo

Jrs fukkery though isn't surprising...he been playing like mouse shyt all year...he just peaked with it in this moment...this fuk up is definitely taking a all of the attention off of Hill tho

Now that I cooled off a bit I think it's possible that JR was waiting for someone to call a timeout. But if that was the case he should of called the timeout himself as all of the refs attention would be on him. Usually if you get a rebound off a missed free throw the rebounder is repsonsible for calling the timeout.

I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt.

This is the story I woul tell the team to give until game 2.
