this why running up the score needs to be apart of the nba, they got this bytch ass culture of holding the ball for every lead till the clock runs out if it was accepted for players to keep playing and score till the end of regulation instinctively he would’ve tried to score at least.
are u as stupid as jr, Even if they were up 1(like jr thought) u run the clock and make them foul u, cause if u score u only up 3. Amd the warriors had a time out with 2 of the best 3 shooters ever.

This had nothing to do with running the score up

Series is over. It was pretty clear Bron went ham to win that game out the gate, so he could conserve energy in game two. That way they go back to Cleveland tied. Now Bron is spent and they're down a game already. Might as well sit him for game 2 because it's gonna be a rout regardless.

I don't think the Cavs were gonna win this series but any chance they had relied on last night. Win that game and suddenly the door is open. Now it's closed. It's over.

JR Smith choices after getting the rebound:
a) Go back for the layup (while KD was in the air on his back foot)
b) pump fake KD and go for the layup (worse case scenario, KD fouls him)
c) get a turnaround jumper
d) pass it to a wide open Green in the left elbow
e) pass it to LeBron at the top of the key
f) call a timeout (he is the one with the ball where the refs will most likely see the request)
Somehow, his dumbass manage to fukk it up.

I don't expect a player (Hill) to make every FT but I damn sure expect every player to have basic fukking situational awareness.

How the fukk do you not know the score in a tightly contested NBA Finals as a 14 year vet?

Also, someone on the Cavs should have called timeout.

This is gonna unfold a lot like the 1995 finals. He’s gonna shoot poorly in game 2 while clearly looking spent from this game and the warriors win by at least 12. In game 3, he’ll play hard, have a monster game, keep them in it, but the warriors will pull away in he second half, and then game 4 is a blowout regardless of how he plays and it’ll likely unfold like game 5 in 2014 where he has 30+ and the rest of the team struggles to score anything at all.

I hate seeing a performance like that go to waste, regardless of who has it, especially due to someone doing something as stupid as what JR did. I don’t see him replicating that with how poorly the team continues to shoot besides him. He’s gonna run out of gas eventually with no help. The rest of of the team even with Love having a good game shot 23-67 from the field and 7-30 from deep.

They still had to win a game winner with 4.7 left, I know Lebron is capable but it's still a less than likely outcome

If george hill made the fts the play wouldn't have even happened in the first place
JR made a dumb play but the game would have been won in OT if the cavs didn't give up
