Nah, I don't know what he means, cause none of them people I mentioned got a main event push- but he said nobody has been in WWE long as Kofi has and not gotten a main event run. I rolled off five dudes, didn't even take me five seconds. They mighta closed out a Raw or SD, but we ain't gonna act like just cause Billy Gunn wrestled a guy who was a main eventer, means HE was a main eventer. Cause if that's the case, so did Kofi.

If you 'name names' and those names are false with the exception of Zack Ryder, did you really name names? Wrestling the biggest star in history at Summerslam isnt the same as a "stupid stupid" episode of Raw at the 10:00 hour. Probably two of the most common matches WWE has run in this past decade was Kofi Kingston/Dolph Ziggler & Kofi Kingston/Miz. Dolph has two world title reigns and Miz has one and is being built to be one of Roman's challengers later in the year. Kofi?

Some of y'all thinking Shelton Benjamin was like Curt Hennig or something. :mjlol:

Breh was cool but in what time should he be having the world championship belt?

Bray Wyatt held the title less than 1 year ago buddy. Baron Corbin was penciled for the title before he mouth off to doc too

Swagger. Sheamus. These guys are losers and were never as over or as good as Shelton. Ever.

Shelton Benjamin had 2 things and thats in ring ability and athleticism. He had no charisma, promo skills, lack intimidation, and not really too marketable like a Rey Mysterio or a Rob Van Dam. Sheamus isn't bad in terms of doing what he does. Im not a fan but seeing how the WWE put a strap on him before Shelton Benjamin is understandable.

I would complain about Cesaro and Neville never getting a title shot before crying over Shelton Benjamin

Which black wrestlers do you believe to be marketable as single stars, currently on WWE main roster?

U know why WWE outlasted tha territories, ECW, WCW n still the biggest promotion?

They know who has the “It” factor to be champ.

Now take a look at TNA.

They make ANYBODY champ. Literally ANYBODY......and it doesn’t benefit them ONE bit. No huge draws, mainstream exposure.
Yeah, the 'it' factor. Must be race exclusive. :ohhh:
Since TNA's inception in 2002 (including the NWA Title) there have been 31 world title holders. 2 of them were black men. (Ron Killings and Lashley)

Since 1963 (including WWWF) there have been 49 world title holders. Only one black man has been allowed to touch the belt in more than 5 decades.

You say ANYBODY can be champ in TNA and that's true, ANYBODY includes EVERYBODY. In other words, it's equal opportunity.

Can they have pussies?

Naomi and Sasha Banks. Maybe Apollo Crews if he can get the right gimmick.

Edit: Big E because of his Godly strength and new day are super over

It's funny how people want to perform mental gymnastics everytime the topic of the lack of black world champions in WWE is brought up.

There's a lot of wrestlers today who are talented but are shyt on the mic and still get world title opportunities. But hell let's talk about the charismatic black wrestlers that don't even get a title shot. Big E was pretty popular during his IC title run and yet he STILL hasn't gotten a world title shot, Kofi got stuck in the mid card after one botch to Orton, MVP's career was a mess after 07.

When you look at the Jinders of the world and the Swaggers, there's zero excuse for the lack of black world champions in WWE.

Nah breh, you have to be absolutely perfect to get that title. Nobody has ever gotten the title without being over, being great at promos and being great in the ring. You need all 3! That's all it takes and of course you need the 'it' factor.

Remember how much the crowd was begging for Bradshaw to split from Farooq and become champion? Remember how everyone wanted and begged for that and saw the potential in him? It's not because a higher up wanted to make him champion. It's not because he was allowed to get that opportunity. It's because he worked hard! The backstage bullying just made him more appealing for the role as champion.

You missed the Mr. Ass push vs Rock, Bob Holly vs Brock Lesnar, and when Tito Santana wrestled for the IC title in the Mid 80s, it was on par with todays SD world title. Zack Ryder? Sure.

Shelton had arguably the biggest match of 2005. The Kliq were giving dude a hand.

Of the 8 or so guys on the roster, for your immediate answer to be zero is telling for either your personal view, or for what WWE says a star is. I expect Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford & Ricochet to be similarly picked apart as Baron Corbin begin to pick up title runs.

So you're tellin' me the people I named weren't in WWF/E maaaad long and got over and still didn't main event shyt? Santana, Gunn, Holly, Hardy, Ryder, and I'm sure there's many more? Val Venis was there for 10 years, what did he main event? Goldust hasn't been there for 23 years straight, but he's been with WWE a long-ass time, several times, and ain't main evented nothin'. Again, just because you wrestle a main eventer doesn't mean that you yourself are a main eventer. Doesn't matter how popular the wrestler is. Was Rikishi a main eventer when he wrestled Austin and Rock in back-to-back PPV matches that weren't the main event?

I ain't even here to debate about Kofi, because he should have a shot at the main event unless he just loves this New Day gig more than being a singles competitor at this point... but Kofi also has a gimmick that's over and is more charismatic than the subject of this thread tho'. I don't even know why we're comparing the two, lol

If you follow along in the thread, you clearly see Great Khali & Jack Swagger cited who similarly won the big gold belt just like Ziggler. Not just people like Jinder, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt, or any other over pushed WWE champ.

Right, but if we're citing Ziggler, Swagger, and Khali... how does that belt count when it's them, but it doesn't count when it comes to Booker or Henry? That's been the longest-running thing "yeah they won it but that ain't the real WWE title" which is true. But yet, Swagger/Ziggler/Khali are part of this convo...

Booker T and Mark Henry were world champions. Why are u responding to me like I said otherwise?
