:what: his point makes no sense . How is jr not worth the money he's being offered ? We aren't giving him above market value and you think if we don't want to sign jr no other team would want him and he'd be out the league :rudy:

:pachaha: Had to put the brakes on the circle we talkin in. He's gonna remain stuck on his opinion so Imma bow out.

With that said...through the smoke & mirrors I see his point.

Yes he does and JR Smith is taller than him but I don't really need guards to be rebounding.

He shot the same fg % as jr in less Minutes and with less points :stopitslime: try again and he makes 7 mil. So him at 7 mil a year is better than jr at less than 5?!?!?!?!?! This is the secondyear he even played more than70 games and his stats dropped :youngsabo:

It's not so much the money it's his game. He has a one dimensional game that eventually fades. What happens when his yearly slump starts to kick in. He will be on the bench or eating up other players minutes trying to shoot his way out of the slump by taking more bad shots.

exactly the money is totally irrelevant....the money reportedly going to Smith couldnt be used on someone else......its more about having him here for another 3 years and allowing him to shoot at will with no fear of being benched. We have a hungry SG on the roster that should be playing more next year anyways...

Im telling you the league doesnt look at JR as some valuable commodity...

Well the point of not winning a title with jr as your second option is the only thing most people agree on . But a team with jr as your secodm option could make the ECf and really all the teams in the east are fighting for that shot at Miami . I don't see how people look around the league and then see jr and say oh he's not even worth less than 5 mil a year as if the playoffs mean he's :trash: . You also have to win regular season games to get to the playoffs and jr is a big help with that

if they want to offer him a contract it should be for one year considering the stunt he pulled in the playoffs both on and off the court. His brother as a packaged deal? If the Knicks brass had any clue they'd tell him to take a hike.

who are the Knicks bidding against here?

He was playing in an unstable situation in Sacramento and was dealing personal/health issues all year. What you need to do is take a long break from dikk riding The Knicks. The Knicks is not the organization you go out on a limb for. You'll only end up looking foolish in the end. :orly:

Trip wanted to pay Lin his money so his opinion on people's values isnt something I can take serious . Again how is letting jr walk helping make us better ???? The guy is taking below market value he's not a team cancer and didn't throw the whole team under the bus like chandler yet you guys are talking as if he is a black cloud on the Knicks

He averaged 5+ rebounds a game and scored 18ppg a game there are players worse than him getting paid more . If you think someone in the league doesn't think jr is worth less than 5 mil idk what to tell you . You I already know is on this conspiracy tip and are now using the fact we didn't win a title to try and act like your correct . How did your Felton and jr hate work out last year?. They both got us farther than your hero Lin who didn't suit up . Jr and shump can coexist so how about you wait till they get a season to play together first

lol at Lin...again the money that could have gone to Lin couldnt go to someone else. And Lin has more trade value than JR Smith...shorter deal, younger player, no off the court issues....

At least with Lin there was another bidder involved....with JR the Knicks are bidding against themselves and China.

Yu kiwi what fukk you and your bytch ass . Ypu just keep making excuses for players you like , I saw it with chandler , kd now with Thornton . Show me some numbers that say he's better than jr over a full season ??:merchant: the guy gets paid 7 mil a year and you hating on jr making less than 5:russ: a unhealthy mentally weak bench player in a smaller market. Yeah I'm sure he'd thrive in NYC

A shorter deal for more money
Oh because all great players are saints . We should of overpaid Lin not for performance no but for his sparkling character . Lin has no trade value because what would he bring to an under the cap team? And for a capped team they get the full Cap hit of like 40 mil to trade him . The odds of a team wanting to trade for a guy like Lin who can't even bring the ball up court against a trap is ? Oh unless th bobcats have a big Asian fan base
