I never implied reverse racism, just the simple fact that these players criticizing Lin's deal are out of line.

I don't think they hate Chinese people, that's racism. If anything it's a bit of tribalism.

you argue against claims of blacks being victims of racism and then reach and call racism of other races.. it just what you choose to post and argue about on the boards.. consistently :yeshrug:

ching chong cant get paid but its cool when others do :upsetfavre:

but but i like mayweather and ray lewis!!

i didnt bring up race tho! :smugfavre:

dog, in the same article, he explains what the fukk it means... holy shyt...
but lets play along...
let's say you and i both work for mcdonalds, you've been there for years and are a proven worker, i've been there for 2 months and just happened to make some real good fries a few times... then burger king comes in and offers me just under what you're making, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF fukkING MCDONALDS OVER (a company your vested in)... do you not have a right to criticize burger kings actions?

Well you're also ignoring the worth of Lin outside of a player, Smith can criticize him for "Doing this for years" but in reality, he aint done shyt for years and no one gives a fukk about Smith.

Lin is a huge money draw, a marketing darling and someone who`ll bring money into your team.

Rockets about to sell a billion Lin jerseys in China.

The Rockets didn't want to just fukk over the Knicks, they wanted Lin on their team. They offered him a deal they thought the Knicks wouldn't match so t hey`d get their player. What is wrong with that?

JR clearly said longer, not better nor superior. What is your logic?

like i said you are comparing apples and oranges. you cannot take his statement about earning stripes in the NBA and apply it to the fukking chinese basketball league. it makes sense that lin's small sample size would lead to some serious concern about giving him a long term contract. on the other hand, it is perfectly acceptable for an nba player to go play for an inferior basketball league overseas and make the most money on the team.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I love being a Celtics fan, and hating the Knicks, this shyt tooooo easy.
My thing here is that all this bytching about this contract, compared to the money the Knicks have given away to bum ass players over the years, LOL.

If the Knicks don't match, I don't want to hear shyt about Dolan only caring about his pockets, cause Lin would pay for himself in merch.

Melo is a gyro away from obesity and Kidd is Vin Baker status right now, just wanted to throw that in. :sadcam:

:why::wtb::damn::childplease: so next year we going to be bad ? Why? Cause of money ? We still have melo , chandler and amare in a weak east. With your logic the nets , heat should be bad

weak east? miami and boston will be better. what do you consider a good year? isn't it conference championship game or bust? you're not getting past the 2nd round w/ those two teams in the way.

I just like dropping facts on you fools.

The funny thing is most stuff posted on here is racially motivated, I`m commenting on this shyt just as much as the next man, it's the more heated conversations and it's the more intriguing ones.

They also tend to have a lot of people who need to be set straight and dealt reality, that's where I come in.

But the truth is, I know some of the folks on here thinking their calling someone racist is a powerful thing. It's not, it's cute and it's funny. It's the weak attempts of someone who can't argue a situation with sense and logic.

So because its another basketball league, JR Smith can let go of his principles of players playing longer thus earning the right to earn more money? What makes it okay?

and win about 25 games :snoop:

Perhaps, but you have to understand the value of a player like Lin, it's not on the court.

That's why Smiths is uninformed here, you couldn't sell a JR Smith jersey on canal street. Lin t-shirts we're in every store imaginable.

Truth is Knicks aint gonna win shyt either, they're a joke of a team who at best are sparring partners f or the top teams.

Bullshyt....

That shyt came to pass.

There was a HUGE drop off in sales near the end of the season and the phenomenom wore off. All that was left was Jeremy Lin yet you think the KNicks still had "Linsanity" to bank on.

:smh:

thats your interpretation... melo felt otherwise... so did Lin and his people...

"He did not see this happening," Peter Diepenbrock, Lin's coach at Palo Alto High School, told Yahoo! Sports. "He sounded surprised."

"He loves the New York fans," Diepenbrock said. "To have the experience that he had for the two months and for that to be over with, that’s quite a shock to the system. I think he really believed the Knicks would match whatever offer he got."

....and in case you've got any doubt left....

"This is a crazy, crazy world," Diepenbrock said. "I can't see him as a Rocket."

and what exactly do all those "sales" mean, TO OTHER PLAYERS IN THE LOCKER ROOM, when Lin is putting up 7 turnovers a game?

You mean in they pocket or for the team? Cause Lin made the Knicks gaup last year in those few games that he wasn't ever going to see, thats the point. Cash cow, he should see some of that dough.
Throwing salt on sons hustle is hating, I don't think he can ball for shyt, but dude is making other people rich, he should be able to collect.
