There is literally a video posted in this very thread (time stamped at that) where Prime says he would be a fool not to entertain the offer of a bigger schoolBro there are people who really believed that Dion was in it for the long term because that's what he said. Why is a near 60 year old man not accountable for that level of cap? Is there nothing that shouldn't be played with? These entertainers get to just say whatever about black uplift and socially skate?
This, you can be critical of the way Deion kicked it then went flip mode, like no one is saying he shouldn’t get paid, but if you just came in did ya thing and not play on the black consciousness, it would not be an issue now. We literally get mad at politicians or fake leaders that try to do this, now all of a sudden it’s all good. The changes he did for jsu aside, you’d call out that it doesn’t matter about the things you do if you don’t plan to stick to your word and drop us the minute you getI dont think people are outraged out of jealousy. People are valid to be disappointed because they thought he was going to stay and transform HBCUs to be a destination for black athletes and bring some of that money they generate back to the black community. Nobody said he couldn't leave but 3 years seems way too soon. The original class of athletes that came to his school haven't even graduated yet but he's leaving. Those athletes he's leaving behind are going to transfer. We get why he's leaving we're just disappointed because what he was doing at Jackson state was having big effect on changing things. I personally have no problem with the decision just wish he had waited a bit longer to do it.
No the example is, you at the black job saying to the boss we need this, stop working for the white business we just as good, and the minute Pepsi offers you a ceo role you bounce, so you used the company to build your resume experience and cache and bounced the minute you got a good offer, you think the staff and boss gon be like ooo cool we don’t mind vs had you not said none of that move up and eventually onwe all know everyone on the coli would stay at that 40k a year black business job instead of selling out and taking that 150k a year job from cacs

I'm a Alcornite and JSU's football program isn't that garbage. There is literally a video posted in this very thread (time stamped at that) where Prime says he would be a fool not to entertain the offer of a bigger school

Hold him accountable for what?
Doing more for JSU than any other coach?

Stop being dense. If Deion whole thing was to “bring respect to HCBUs” then it would make sense for him to turn those big offers down. At least until more progress has been made to bring credibility to HCBU’s.we all know everyone on the coli would stay at that 40k a year black business job instead of selling out and taking that 150k a year job from cacs

There is actual push back on politicians who do that, look how the coli talks Kamala and how she pandered to black women for a vote and did nothing, again the rub is, he did not have to talk that I’m here for changing the views of hbcu’s and we are just as good of a destination to turn around and jump ship, he could have said nothing, but he knew nikkas would support and it was a recruiting angleWhy do people selective politic when it comes to coaches and players? People expect coaches and players to be loyal but don't hold the same expectation for schools and pro teams.
Had Deion Sanders had a bad record during his tenure @ JSU, then he would have been fired and people wouldn't say shyt.
Deion Sanders is only obligated to be loyal to himself. Seems like he did more than enough for JSU, saw a better opportunity and moved on...
JSU can still be a winning program. They need to learn from what Deion brought to the school and continue with their program.
