Tbh I find it so weird that Togashi is so committed to being the one to draw HxH. I get it can be a pride thing, and it could be something in Japanese culture, perhaps. I guess it's the fear for me if we get a Berserk situation. (RIP Miura) Considering how many health issues happen within the industry for mangaka and Togashi having a massive history of them to add to that point.

:russ: the 3rd season got announced and we all in here back clowning the bad stuff and hyping up the dope stuff. It's the JJK experience :blessed:

I honestly don't know how much Gege is even involved in this Mejiro project. Going by his comments it's basically a pitch he gave the green light and will let another artist do the heavy work.

I think there's no way he comes close to finishing the story but I think he's become very aware of that (Miura and other mangaka's deaths been the trigger, sadly) and that's why he's been working way more regularly -for his standards, lol- these past 2 years. I think there's a real chance he'll write this current arc's end, we'll see if he gets to draw it. He's been getting a ton of help though, it's why the process has sped up so much compared to 2019-2022 when nothing got done. Who knows if he lets one of his assistants finish the job when Togashi is gone.
