Yup, if manga sales are good/great (they should, it's a short series) and the adaptation does bank, I see either a JJK anthology series or this new artist taking over so Shueisha can keep making bank out of the IP while Gege just cashes them checks and tries to troll/piss the fanbase off somehow

I mean, JJK has been the best-selling manga since S2 came out. There's no reason people don't check out the new stuff since Japanese brehs weren't as negative as Western fans. Tbh I expect after the short-term serialization ends, go for something long-term.

I just meant that by being a short series, there's little to no room for it to fall off commercially. It's basically gonna live off the hype in Japan regardless of its quality. By the time any backlash could come up because of the story it already gonna be ending.

Last page of the manga is the last finger back in the shed where Yuji found the first one (and later ate). As far as we know there are no more fingers lying around. At least that's what I think I took as Yuji putting back as a symbol of it being harmless now that all other fingers ain't an issue anymore (and 1 finger doesn't do shyt).
