genuine happiness and true happiness are different.
Genuine happiness is fleeting and True happiness can never be obtained. It dawned on me, we're genuinely happy because we HAVE. We have something that makes happy by adding/attaching itself to us it's then amplified if we give said thing value/importance. We might be happy because we have a car, have a job, have warm food, clean water, friends, a lover, but take that all away are we still going to be happy? Happiness happens because have things given to us, strip that away and at the core there's nothing. True happiness can only be obtained when you have nothing. Nothing added or given to you, just you by yourself and your thoughts and actions. Which is why almost all religions tell people to denounce themselves of the material world if they want true happiness.

Just recently i went thru a 'DEPRESSIVE MOOD".....and it was all because i failed to realize the OPTIONS that MONEY could bring me...
just had a break up with my ex..its been a week i was feeling down
hadn't had a transaction sale in three days in my online shop i was down
checked my portfolio and realize that "bull run" that my stocks had came to an abrupt end and i actually lost significantly..i was really down..
then just this morning TWO BIG TRANSACTIONS came thru...I AM UP
just checked my po box and found my letter of certification from the Georgia Secretary of State office validating my newly formed LLC...I AM UP
just got a call back from a fine chick i met who runs her own counseling firm and we suppose to meet up this evening...no longer worried about my ex..IM REALLY UP
SO its not just about HAPPINESS..its' about OPPORTUNITIES to not only help myself but others...
it felt good GIVING MY MOTHER some money to help with her catering business something i couldnt do several years ago struggling to get out of debt..
so yes that makes me HAPPY!!
SO MY ADVICE TO YOU my friend is to paraphraseh the words of the legendary YOUNG JEEZY...
DON'T GET MAD...GET MONEY..SO YOU CAN ONE DAY LAUGH AT ALL YOUR SO CALLED ISSUES CAUSE THIER SO FUNNY

Money can buy happiness assuming your unhappiness isnt rooted in mental illness.
Its not about actually buying happiness, it about knowing that you can or have the freedom to do whatever you want. you can take care of yourself and your family, you can afford to try almost anything. money can provide you with opportunities, that can provide you with resources that can lead to happiness.
That should provide you some form of happiness if not then you have other issues.
exactly, people think that just cause they dont want a car, or a watch or hoes, that money cant buy happiness, no you may be into investing or starting a business, or maybe you get off on donating, all those un-materialistic things requires money to do. If thats what makes you happy then having the money to do it should make you happy.
For me the monotony of having to go to work at the same time every day, take lunch break at the same time, deal with the same stupid people everyday is just a letdown, you get burned out after a while.. having enough money could make this all go away
yea maybe only people that grew up poor can truly appreciate what type of happiness money can afford.
