Brother @Slaimon Khan Shah it has been many moons. How are you?
After a few starts, here I am on day 25. I gotta say that not waking up hungover/tired (from poor sleep) is priceless. I am getting better workouts and just mentally sharp (No brain fog). My cravings for sweets went up a lot tho so I justify having a can of soda and some milk duds every now and then. Instead of spending $ on happy hours, I have been focusing on spending more on quality food and cooking at home. When I pass day 30, I may celebrate by having a shot of this bourbon I was gifted but never opened.
For anyone having a hard time, I say that the first 10 days are the hardest and just keep your distance from people you literally just drink with. I realized that there are a lot of people I did nothing other than have drinks with.
Incredible, thanks for sharing valuable information on your experience. Update our brethren once you complete the 30th day. Hella inspiring
I AM GOOD! ALL OF THE PRAISES AND THANKS BE TO ALLAAH! IT'S GREAT HEARING FROM YOU! HOW ARE YOU?
I'm actually doing very well to be honest with you.
Quit drinking for good almost 2 weeks ago. I'm actually starting to look attractive again.
I got my natural body high back and I just finished a great job interview paying good $.
I FEEL GOOD!!!!!
(JAMES BROWN VOICE)
Wrestling practice from High School still has me drinking a gallon of water a day...but that's it. I still drink coffee, as its basically pre-workout, to be fair, I don't put any kind of sugar or milk in it. Plus I can't be losing that much weight. 6'1, ain't trying to be lanky.
Just completed it. I didnt really lose any weight or belly fat tho. Probably because I wasn’t living the deviant lifestyle Hot Rod was.
I’m still glad I did the challenge. There’s no downside to drinking more water. And i saved money from buying drinks. I was even in the strip club on that water life.
LIFE IS A SIMPLE CHOICE LIKE THIS... WATER OR ALCOHOL?
Greetings brother @Slaimon Khan Shah
As a recovering alcoholic it is NOT that black & white. It is a disease and you should respect it as such good sir.
Update: Completed the 30 days, Had some drinks while on vacation but this time I was much more aware of what and how much I was having vs before when I was just knocking drinks back until it was time to go. I feel great but I noticed how much alcohol is a part of my life in the sense that, I visit family/friends and I'm offered a drink 90% of the time. People ask why I 'm not ordering a drink when eating out (Bill is not so crazy when all you are paying for is food).
I spring out out bed now that my mornings aren't ruined by a hangover or an upset stomach because I just had to eat some greasy food late night. I plan to keep drinking at an absolute minimum.
DEAR BROTHER @Squirrel!
HELLO THERE! I HOPE YOU ARE DOING GREAT. I AM TALKING ABOUT LIFE IN TOTALITY NOT JUST A SPECIFIC SITUATION WHERE SOMEONE IS A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC. THINK BIG PICTURE AS REGARDS TO MY LAST POST.

@TAYLONDO SAMSWORTHY I know when you first start out you're in the bathroom alot but does your body adjust eventually so you don't have to go as frequently ?
Peace to the brehs that completed the challenge and working on it now
I copped one of those gallon jugs from amazon and started the challenge Sunday morning
Already starting to see results brehs
