The Louisiana shooting most likely will overshadow the coverage but online media and Facebook/Twitter will run with this so WWE better start acting right.

t-dot till they bury me
Once again, how is that any more flimsy than any other reason for being champ in this fake world of pro-wrestling?

If you aren't a big fan than I might understand why you don't get it. This topic of racism in wrestling isn't new, this has been an ongoin discussion for some time now, and this Hogan tape is just blowing the door off the hinges. Obviously, this forum in particular discusses it more than others, but it's also gotten press elsewhere as well : Pro Wrestling Is Fake, but Its Race Problem Isn't

They were eventually going to have to come to terms with the fact that they've never had a legit black champion holding their main title (I'm not going to get into a debate about The Rock so don't ask). In a fake sport where you're given opportunities as opposed to winning them through talent, that has to mean something. Now is just as good a time as any for them to address it.
I don't disagree with opportunities based on talent vs just being given. You should have to earn it.

Don't disagree with racism existing in wrestling. Alot of their characters past/present are based on stereotypical perceptions of race.

What I don't agree with is them making a push for a black champion based solely on one of their icons getting caught spewing racist filth against blacks.

Good point, but didn't the Michael Hayes incident lead to hall of pain mark Henry? At least something good ultimately came of that.

makes me nervous about what the direction is going to be from this day forward. WWE has already went nuts erasing him and what not, now that their racist history is going to come to the forefront, it will be interesting to see how they will spin it. Especially with the Vince "whats up my nikka" clip trending, and Booker T story line from 2003 being brought up again. Hopefully they just put out the statement and that's it.

But you know they'll probably bring out

reading the first page in disgust.. how the fukk is a wrestler getting exposed as a racist gonna make wwe worse than it is now?:drizzywtf: u would rather black wrestlers be continuously held back and only have c00n/tap dancing/singing/thug gimmicks? gtfoh..

only effect this should have is for wwe to stop being racist and to give black wrestlers more of a chance.. nothing more, nothing less

I hope this shyt gets uglier than a master p sneaker:plk: and wwe gets mugged on their racism as hard as they got mugged on steroids when the benoit thing happened.. i'd love to see vince and triple h's faces on a news outlet trying to rationalize their endless racist fukkery

im black and i didnt think cryme tyme was racist,
And every time someone starts with "I'm black", it's always followed by something that a black person would never say.

"I'm black and I didn't find that joke offensive at all". :skip:

"I'm black and I agree that black people are more racist than anyone else." :skip:
