Paris by train in under 2 hours
The Mrs and I are going to Amsterdam train next week. 4 hours by train from London - sounds long but the whole flying process probably takes about the same.

It’s specifically because it’s like half the cost of living of London. I just gotta figure out ho to get residency status
I like London but London is hella expensive. You could live in Birmingham and pay half the price and hang out in London.
What was your experience like in Marseille? I want to get out there at some point in the near future. From what I gather some parts looks like the Magnolia from the Juvenile 'Ha' video but I'm with it

Marseille was dope af. It's the 2nd biggest city in France. But people from Paris don't really consider them as part of the country for whatever reason. The Parisien breh @mbewane could speak on it better
Has a very interesting history being a port city. Lot of cool little mini beaches you can hit right in the city center. Get you a car and do some day trips to Cassis or Nîmes. If you with your peoples yall could rent a boat and sail around the Calanques. Hop on a train and hit Nice or Paris in few hours. Good nightlife I ran out of time but would've loved to catch a football game at the Marseille stadium that just got renovated few years ago
It's certain neighborhoods in the north faraway from city center that are rough. You wouldn't really have no business there to begin with
Just stay your ass by the Old Port and you won't have no problems.
It's a lot of propaganda out there because of all the black immigrants there but safety-wise I felt fine as a breh from DC with basic-intermediate level French

How is it getting around the city without a car? And how were your interactions with the locals as I'm guessing with the intermediate French that allowed you to chop it up more with locals?
I've seen footage from the football stadium, that would definitely be dope to visit 
Frfr I'm probably most curious to see how the West and North African communities are out there.
