Just spent a week in Colombia visited Medellín and Cartagena AMA

I didn’t go to any strip clubs. I was thinking about it tho. I went to a club called delirium full of all the hoes looking to bag a baller or a tourists. Americans stand out like a sore thumb tho, So you become an easy target. The men roll in large groups and are big and loud. I’m in the airport now and some coli brehs are talking about how some chick here got them in trouble with the police. I know cos they are so loud.

If you had a notion to come down I’d say do it.

However Jamaica and the DR are even safer ( but more expensive alternatives)

Medellín seemed less touristy, I guess it’s because it’s not a beach destination. In my head vacation means beach. Medellín was a lot more calm. Seemed more like cafe’s and restaurants. I used get your guide and air bnb to book all my activities. I did the guatape tour, paragliding, communa 13 tour. I recommend all 3. It’s definitely more touristy and has less black ppl. Cartagena felt like home to me in so many ways. I could have skipped Medellin all together TBH; glad I did it tho.

Get some Juan Valdez Coffee they make the best airport coffee in Colombia.

Don’t get 80% chocalate it’s usually too bitter for most people but it’s good for you too.

we could defenitely JBO this thread but if nikkas is going to Colombia for cheap box then let it be cheap.

We could discuss saving money on everything. There was a scandal in Colombia where some Colombian was charged 450,000 pesos for a sea food dinner.

I know the money looks like multicolored monopoly money but that was like 110 bucks

way too expensive for Seafood and in fact there’s only One place where you could spend that much in Cali and that’s for a steak dinner. and that’s mainly for the Mariachi bands not just for the food.

45,000 pesos is still high but in line with what a beach restaurant should charge in Cartagena. That’s about 11 bucks and off the beach same meal could be had for half that.

Funny story my boy had his Colombian girl fly to Jamaica from Colombia she got super profiled. She liked Jamaica despite not speaking a word of English much less Patios.

Yeah the chick I’m speaking of with the gringo Boyfriend is from Cali I think she’s going on a cruise with him so it might be her first time in Cartagena.

Had to be super hot in Cartagena especially compared to Medellin.

You just missed the rain storms Meddy was flooded out a couple of weeks ago.

Same thing bad rep land. You go to the wildest Garrison ( hood) and speak with an American twang and no one will bother you. The Jamaican cops will fukk the whole area up if something happened to you.

You might get a crash agent but being robbed is kinda unlikely being clapped is even less likely.

It’s a poor town so they might rob someone if they caught them slipping.

Pro tip on the vendors as soon as you see one lock eyes with them and wag your finger and walk off.

Because it’s more Paisas meddy is probably the overall BBL capital of Colombia and possibly the world.

There’s Cali Curves but there’s way more Black people here and thus more natural body types but the white girls get BBL’s here too.

Paragliding was circa £70

I didnt tour the actual house but drove past what they claim to be a house that belonged to him on the Guatape boat tour and Rosario Island tour.

Yeah we planned extensively, but left days free to just wing it. We did more or less all we planned to. I loved it, will definitely return.
It hardly rained even though when I checked the weather report it said it was going to rain every day. It was absolutely baking every day and so humid.

Yeah it’s a 12 hour is flight. I’m hoping to get some sleep.
