Yup lack of proper telecom infastructure made the mobile game king. Africans are using mobile technology to bridge the gaps. Growing up I remember if you had a landline you were balling. They were hard to get, you damn near had to bribe and pay ransom for one. Cell Phones killed a lot of that exploitation.

A lot of people have started switching to wifi now thank goodness ........ i have a 4G sim that i have in an old phone , I use that as a hotspot for my ipad and laptop when im not at home

Internet plans are very cheap in Africa. The speed is also good as well.

I was in Abuja last month and got like 3GB of data for less than $10. Crazy

one time my cousin came to greet me , afterward I went to drop him home at Aguda , anyway we were at Alhaji Masha when he asked me to pull over the car because he saw one fine babe waiting at the roadside for a cab, we asked her where she was going and she said that she was going to meet her boyfriend , i told her I would give her a lift, anyway when we were in the car her boyfriend called and she said she was on the way, i dropped my cousin home so it was just two of us, I said we should just get something quick to eat then I would drop her...

that time the nearest place was stadium hotel in Surulere , by this time her boyfriend was still calling her and she said she just had to run an errand for her auntie..

fast forward after the meal i asked her if any club was on (it was a tuesday) she said she knew a strip club on Allen in ikeja , my cousin said he would meet me there .... get to the strip club and it was on , i dont like getting lapdances so i told the dancers she was a lesbian and they were just dancing on her a feeling her up .... meantime they were telling me oga we have rooms upstairs 5000 .... but i refused, not my thing

by this time the chick has switched off her phone....
a bit later my cousin turned up with one babe ... anyway after a while he said he had to get back home as he told his wife he was quickly going out to see someone, he left me in the club with those two women and about four strippers at the table , when I went to see him out to his car he told me that he brought the other chick for me as a backup , anyway he said he had a link at the protea hotel that would rent me a room for cheap because obviously i wasnt going to take women i dont know home ..... he phoned his guy , we spoke and i got his number

I got back upstairs to the club, settled my bill and told them lets go ..... if it where anywhere else obviously the women would have wanted to know what was going on ...

but lagos is Lagos .... These two babes saw me buying condoms from the mallam outside and still didnt say anything ....

i banged them in protea till morning .... the funny thing is i even left them there .... I gave them both cab money and bounced about 8 oclock in the morning ..... I banged them both on separate occasions before I left ....

Only haggle I had was the person searching my bag at custom asking if I had anything for him and I said no and that was it

The people are friendly as hell, the food is great, the weather is great. Because it's not known as a "tourist" area everything is dirt cheap.

I'm eating at an all you can eat buffet right now for 5,000 naira
