dog dwade BEEN a great off ball player. that's why him and bron worked so well, wade could always move without the ball and that was one of lebron's weaknesses. spo is not a great coach. at all. he had arguably 3 top 10 players in the game and only got 2 titles with them. there's no way we should have lost 4 in a row to the mavs in 2011. we won two titles with lebron but it doesn't feel as satisfying as it should have, cause we KNOW we should have had more. pop, thibs, carlisle....they all get us 4 easy. carlisle made spo look like a complete amateur in 2011.
Thibs stuggles offensively. Naw, no way in hell Thibs would have gotten us more titles. Nope. Pop was already taken, Carlisle was already taken. What AVAILABLE coaches would've done better than Spo? Every other coach and basketball mind in the league thinks he's great....

:manny:

And besides, Spo's already beaten Pop head-to-head. One of the few coaches to do so. Carlisle as good as he is, would've yielded the same results in 2011. As good as Wade/Bosh and Bron were, that team had HOOOOOOOOOORRIBLE roleplayers. The 2011 Mavs had every single cutter, shooter, off-the ball player in NBA history to compliment Dirk. We had Erik Dampier and Mike Bibby's corpse.....

Bruh... If LeBron was even producing at AC average rate in 2011 we would've won that.

Also, if Spo hadn't won in 2012 he probably would have been fired. Dude ate that pressure up and coaches his ass off.

Like someone said, he worked and developed a new system over the summer and everything.

Even this year, we happy as fukk with the new offense but don't really give him credit for making the adjustment.

What credit does he get for us surviving January with all the injuries and travelling?

Dell Harris couldn't win with Shaq and Kobe. Collins couldn't win with MJ. Stan Van coukdnt win with Wade and Shaq. Thibs hasnt won shyt. Pop with a squad of Hall of Famers performs as he should. Spo with a squad of Hall of Famers, performed as he shiukd.

We can't say that when Spo had the squad, he didn't win.

I give spo credit for switching up the offense. I mean it took a long fukkin time to realize his out of date offense wasn't doing shyt, but at least he smartened up. stan van wouldve won with shaq and wade if wade didn't hurt his ribs vs the pistons. spo is a decent coach who was able to be blessed with some of the most talented teams in history since he got the job. spo is a coach who follows the book like a robot...he's not an innovator or a guy who will put pressure on opposing coaches. when carlisle or pop made an adjustment, he never answered back. he didn't know how to. he sticks with the same shyt and watches the team get destroyed. spo hardly thinks outside of the box and that's his biggest problem.

I will say switching up the offense was great to see. maybe he's finally starting to turn a corner. I hope i'm wrong and he does become great. cause having a great coach only means more success for the heat. at the end of the day, we're all heat fans. we don't agree on certain shyt, but we all just wanna see the team win. so if I criticize a player or coach, i'm HOPING they prove me wrong. I still think he's being a fukk boy not starting hassan yet....dude gotta swallow his pride already. I still expect hassan to be starting come playoff time though:yeshrug:

i'm not gonna talk about "available" coaches, but if we had carlisle in 2011, we win that title. flat out. we were a miracle ray allen 3 from winning 1 fukkin title in 4 years with lebron and d wade. our offense was horrendous all those years....and it continued all the way to february of this year. these past 2 seasons especially exposed spo's flaws as a coach. wade, dragic, bosh, whiteside and we're 29th in offense. inexcusable. but like I said....at least he finally did SOMETHING. you got all these offensive weapons and you're running a zombie offense. hopefully he continues to make adjustments.

Ray Allen miracle shot or not, winning 27 in a row and winning back-to-back titles is no easy feat. Carlisle, Pop, or whoever did what they did with HOF players also. Having the rosters that we had shouldn't guarantee multiple titles. He got to 4 straight titles and won 2 in a row. Again, I don't think we as Heat fans realize how unbelievably TOUGH it is to win back-to-back titles. Our expectations, keeps us from appreciating things for what they were and giving proper due to Spo. Even Pop hasn't won back-to-back titles....
