Do u think blacks in America are using even 25% of their potential in this current climate in America?
We are always the bad guy. We lazy right? We ain't trying hard enough huh? We aint shyt huh? We need to do better, correct?

Again, if you are not ADOS -- and "doing it" -- continue to worry about yourself. Your opinion is mute. Make sure your people in your country are living up to their potential.

How are you using percentages? Where did this statistic come from? Most blacks in America don't even have access to "25%" of the economic resources in order to meet their potential, so what are you trying to say?

Do it then.

You are a concern troll.

Stop using Oppression Olympics -- it's coded White Supremacist language.

In 1993, the phrase "oppression olympics" was coined by feminist author and activist Elizabeth "Betita" Martínez to challenge the idea of the "hierarchy of oppressions" when addressing inequalities faced by minorities.[13]

Tell me how am I trolling?

Thanks for the info

Why are people from other countries offering their opinions on what AAs (ADOS) are entitled to?? This is what I fail to understand - how do they feel entitled to make an assessment when they have not been a part of black culture and experiences in America through living day to day - this goes back generations. Being oppressed in another part of the world is a false equivalency.

It's the idea many immigrants and whites in general think. We aren't trying hard enough. And we are lazy, hood, uneducated, unmotivated -- basically all things negative.

They are concern trolls.

They also front like they support reparations -- but they don't. Those "I support reparations" but.... means they don't support shyt.

As in trying to max out our situation in America at this point with the resources we do got...

I just asked a question of what do YOU THINK?

They have nations. We do not. We have the Congressional Black Caucus and c00ns like Elijah "my White friend isn't racist" Cummings.

the cbc is a disappointing group of career politicians that don't want to upset the apple cart. i don't trust them to move the needle on something like this tbh. it's about time for them to move out the way or get with the program. and not just about reparations, but with more aggressive support and advancement of black agendas.

Totally agree. You have to know there are some of us offline organizing and working on these issues. But, it's not enough. It's picking up though - and will continue too.

The main issue is not letting others discourage you -- or make you feel like it won't or never can happen -- or we don't deserve it. It's a lot of people online like this -- on this forum as well.

everyone agrees reparations are due. some black folks are pessimistic because it's such a huge mountain to climb. i have to admit the skirmishes about who is or isn't eligible for reparations is counterproductive. imo that needs to be set aside. i know that's not a popular opinion, but i think it's getting in the way of a unified front.

at the moment the biggest weapon against reparations is ourselves. if agents, the gov, bad actors or whoever can keep black people fighting over details then they can keep us from any meaningful organization. that is a tried and true tactic.

This @Rhakim guy was the same guy in higher learning calling us cacs causing division because we focusing on ADOS issues.

Now he in here:cape::cape::cape:for indians. Who is the CAC now? I bet you aint ADOS.

You made a thread about me without even @ing me or linking my OP because you were too shook to get me involved, then you got owned in your own thread by a bunch of people who called you out on it and mocked you for being a fake troll, and now you gonna lie on me in this thread?

I NEVER called you or anyone else a cac and I NEVER said you shouldn't focus on ADOS issues. You're lying.

And how is it :cape:for Natives to say that their lives suck, they're the worst on every indicator and they ain't done anything compared to what White people are doing to everyone?

Would it be :cape: for you if I told everyone that your life ain't doing anything? :heh:

The CBC is behind everything that isn't ADOS. We have discussed this before. But, all we can do is continue to reach out to them and call them to task. It's time to see them address the issues specifically in our communities. And put their entire focus on us.

On everyone agreeing -- I don't agree. People KNOW we are owed -- but best believe it's even Black people who don't wanna see that happen. Look at the push back here on this forum. And it can be seen in any Black space.

It's discouraging and if one is not strong or know their history --- and have self-love for themselves and ancestors -- they start to become just like them. Questioning and letting that negative energy deter them from supporting and organizing offline and online.
