I think he would because he lives in Houston and he loves it there. He's a huge Texans fan. Plus, I think it's been long enough and he and Stan both have a good relationship with Daryl Morey.

If that's what you like doing, then that's what you like doing. He'll likely always have a commentator spot. He's easily one of the better commentators or at least one of the more entertaining ones.

I never got the love affair with van gundy he was just a average coach

Love him as an analysis...i can't imagine him being successful anywhere as a coach in todays nba...

It's weird to me that a guy who hasn't coached in a decade is getting calls to come coach again in the first place...

I don't know anymore. He's an extreme minus on defense, inefficient, overly dependent on getting calls and is extremely turnover prone.

I think I'd rather have Klay Thompson. Not a facilitator but a better shooter, team player, and a vastly superior defender. More well rounded player.

I think I'd rather have Jimmy Butler too.

It for damn sure ain't comparable pay. Van Gundy might end up with $7+ million yearly if he goes back to coaching.
