Bruh, dont lie you have to wonder what a Russell Wilson like QB would be like in our offense. A QB with a arm, accuracy, legs, smarts. shyt would open Chips offense up so much more.

Depending on him? no. But to have another weapon on the outside that is a threat is good for the whole offense bruh, plain & simple. I dont Chip is out of his element. Because we have guys open but once again its up to Foles to get them the ball. He just simply hasnt been able to consistently.

Its almost cost us some games. I just dont think Foles is the future. I did but he has regressed some nasty bruh. Thats not what you want to see out of a franchise qb. Especially one that should be getting better, it isnt like he is a vet in decline.

Im going to be straight up. If Foles & the offense start to get hot & we get Kelce & Mathis back in week 10. And our defense can keep getting turn overs & get a consistent pass rush. Getting healthy with a hot team in the later part of the season has the makings of a team that can get hot & go on a SB run. I really think we can be that team.

So was in Philly for the game. Went down to the stadium around 10:30, brought a bunch of beers and hung out in the tailgate. Some truly impressive setups. People are not playing around.
Got to our seats. 18th row. Beautiful stadium.
Sun was out and the beer was flowing.
Saw some great jerseys including Wes Hopkins, Andre Waters and Clyde Simmons.
Foles looked shakier to me in person than he does on TV.
Cox was in beast mode.
Crowd was a bit subdued but definitely got loud for some of the key 3rd down plays.
People sitting beside us brought us to McFaddens after the game
All in all a great experience. One every Eagles fan should have at least once.

You know what people fail to look at when going over Foles' average play this season? Its that this is a natural progression downward from how he ended last year. By that Saints playoff game it was clear that Foles was progressing downward as the season went along. Expecting him to turn it around is crazy because this is just the continued trajectory of his QB play from the end of last season.

Yea but the thing is he hasnt made any progress. He needs to work on his arm strength. Dude has no spin on the ball & cant drive the ball worth of shyt. There was a sideline throw to Mac in the 9ers game & it took FOREVER to get to Mac. Of course so long Cox almost picked it off. When it shouldnt have been that close.

I think Foles can turn it around the problem is it seems mentally he's messed up in the head about trying to match last years numbers. Donovan's my boy for life but I think he did a number on Foles with that "Franchise QB" comment. I blame the media more cause they are the ones who blew it way out of proportion. It seems a lot is in his head. But Will Chip have Foles back if sh!t hits the fan and he continues to play average? I think Foles is safe as long as we keep winning. It's when the Losses come, the pressure for him will get higher. Had the Rams came back and Won, I think Foles would of been on the hot seat.

Foles isn't in Donovan's situation when he came. Donovan came when Philly was one of the worst teams in the league. Foles came coming off the Donovan and Andy era. The Philly Fans don't want to Rebuild, They don't want to wait. It's Championship NOW or Bust. We are spolied by Playoffs after Playoffs and NFC Title games year in and year out. We will not accept another 1 and done in playoffs. Vick was 1 and done. Foles was 1 and done. Our Last Playoff win was in 2009 against The Defending Super Bowl Champion Giants @ their house. That was 5 years ago. No more excuses. They have to win now.

Foles's problems are more then mental, its mechanics too. Also you hope he can turn it around if its mental. Not all QBs can get over that mental hurdle.

We're Not Winning Anything Now With That Defense

We've won 4 games and are the #1 seed but I agree. In the playoffs our Defense can't be leaking points like this. Special Teams and Defensive TD's have really inflated our points cause Offensively Foles and Shady aren't doing as great as it thought they would. Again I can't believe we are 4-1, sometimes watching the game it seems like we should be 1-4 but we just don't ever give up. Even the SF game, it came down to a goal line stand. Teams just can't "Beat" us, they have to beat us kicking and screaming. This is a good trait to have for the playoffs. We are never out of a game.

Dude has always been a stocky guy, he is like 6 foot 2 (more like 6 foot) weighing 270 plus pounds but he has been really beastin this year tho . Doubt he is out of shape, the way Chip emphasizes physical fitness from all his players in training camp
