As much as I'd like Mariota I don't see how we're getting him. There are so many teams below us who need a quarterback. Jets, bucs, rams, texans that could trade this years pick which will probably be better than ours. Unless we're gonna forfeit 2 or 3 1st rounders+this year (which could set us back even further) I don't see us getting a big name QB in the first round.

Another observation about this game. Assuming he stays healthy, Maclin is probably gonna command a large long term contract after this season . He's been one of the few bright spots on offense this year. Hopefully we find a way to resign him but still be able to have financial flexibility.

Straight up, these two losses piss me off, I would rather get blown the fukk out then go out like that or at least lose by 7 or more points. That way i dont reflect back on would'ves, could'ves and should'ves

That way the L does not hurt so much.

Turnovers in the red zone, shot gun formation when you need inches.Cary William and Nate Allen especially having a mental breakdown in coverage at the worst possible time. Nick Foles pump faking and then throwing to the same spot or just completely missing a routine intermediary route.

I can't call it brehs. I mean, I wanna give Foles this entire season to prove his worth, but I'm getting nervous.... I'm close to wanting Chip to call Sanchise's number. He's not the best QB either, but I'm beginning to think that I would feel more comfortable with a QB that has two Conference Championship Games under his belt to finish this season...

Here's a question. I don't think that this offense HAS to have a mobile QB to be effective. Just accurate & not commit a bunch of turnovers! If Foles isn't the answer, and we look towards the future, does Chip give Matt Barkley his shot, or nah???

Did anyone ask Chip why he didn't challenge the spot of that Polk run right before the 2 minute warning? Or is it just me? It looked damn close to a first down to me. IF that call had been challenged and reversed, the eagles could have either burned more clock, or forced the cardinals to burn a timeout or two

this yeaar? eagles been doing that since the mcnabb + young guns era, back in 08 when we were 9-6-1 season to be honest

"I thought I had it," said Polk "But we didn’t challenge it. I guess [they ruled] my knee was down when I extended it."

Explained Kelly: "They said they couldn't get an accurate look from the cameras."

My issues with this is that, for one, it wouldn't have hurt to at least throw the challenge flag and have the play upheld. But now, we will never know. And two, if it looked like a 1st down on television cameras, I don't see how they automatically thought they couldn't get a good replay. I mean, it is what it is now, but it was just one of those things that left me scratching my head yesterday

but the refs yesterday were horrendous. They couldnt give him the spot.

Honestly though that was the worst officiating crew I have ever seen. They really impacted the game with all the bull shyt. The bull shyt was even handed but still. .
