customs and courtesies is one thing. But they generally learn how to maneuver around. Most of my BOLC students already knew not to mess with their NCOs. Quick way to lose respect of your personnel.

That was that CMSgt that isn’t anything generally common. In fact per of that may have been him really displaying that for the subordinates around to see that. It’s equivalent to me showing up to PT to salute the flag and conduct PRT everyday up until I signed out. Some people just do things to over emphasize respect. Some will call it professionalism I’m thinking he may have been a bit over exaggerated but I Definitely understand.
