This nygga Ye doing what DDOT did to him

Not at all. Kanye kind of started the whole ghost producer myth that floats around online to this day. Kanye was credited with everything he did with D-Dot, but claimed he made the beats, which caused people to confuse co-producer with ghost producer. It made no sense for D-Dot to cheat Kanye out of credits or for Kanye to be "ghost producing" for D-Dot when Kanye has solo credits on D-Dot's album.

Brian Miller, on the other hand, wasn't credited with "Down & Out", but Kanye clarified Brian Miller made that beat shortly after that album came out.

“Brian “All Day” Miller made that beat”

I hear Ye say that every time I randomly hear Down and Out

Kanye hasnt touched a beat machine in years.

he just oversees and orchestrates.

Hes got the resources and hes known to take care of people very well.

Honestly it would be a beatmaker or songwriter’s dream to be in kanyes camp.

Do what you love to do, get paid well for it, and dont have to worry about any of the business or relationships.

just stay at home, send in your beats, and get paid.

This is true of folks who work with him now, over the last decade. But back then in the early 00s? It’s possible this dude didn’t see a dime, or got a couple thousand in cash.
