I mean alot famous artist never wrote their own tracks and producers that have a whole team making beats for em, they just put their name on it lol

I wonder when was the last time dre made a beat himself

This isn't true. They don't just slap their names on someone else's work. In Brian Miller's case, this was an error on the label and not "I am gonna take credit from Brian Miller".

When you see more than one producer listed, a lot of them are instrumentalists. You might have someone on keys, drums, a guitarist, and someone who brought those people together to create the track. They all get production credits, but it will be broken down in varying degrees.

Timbaland, Kanye, Shawty Redd, Devante Swing and Dre would shop beats for producers who were new. Kanye did the same with Brian, Brian wouldn't have got onto Cam's album without Kanye being his plug into Rocafella. It's kinda like Master P or Suge being the "executive producer" but never made the beat, but they are the one's who had the finances to put the studio session together to create the album. Without them it would never be possible.

Kanye hasnt touched a beat machine in years.

he just oversees and orchestrates.

Hes got the resources and hes known to take care of people very well.

Honestly it would be a beatmaker or songwriter’s dream to be in kanyes camp.

Do what you love to do, get paid well for it, and dont have to worry about any of the business or relationships.

just stay at home, send in your beats, and get paid.
he also picks out the samples

Cyhi The Prince said recently that Ye will give people credit for just being in the room and contributing an idea that gives him a line or something. Which is really nice but probably isn't helping out the actual writers/composers much.

If Brian chopped up the sample and Ye did the drums then it's co produced like he said

They just omitted dude's name from the official credits for some reason
