I work corporate retail. I'm not ignorant of anything retail related. I see celebs on occasion where I work at and trust me, if they really want a line, be it clothing, home products/furniture, etc., they can get one.
Kanye is either being very difficult or he's not doing something right if he can't at least get SOMETHING on the runway.
He has too many friends and too much power to not be able to get anything off the ground.

yet, he also could be failing from a lack of cultural and braintrust based knowledge.
as it applies to that exact industry.
fashion, in the western civilized world goes back further than any black person from America in general can know.
just socially, let alone an actual industry.
