I think Kanye definitely made some valid points in this interview.. He acknowledged he was wrong for yelling at Sway and apologized for that.. But he also let you know what was really goin on wit him.. I'm amazed at 21 pages and no one mentioning his argument about the release of the "Red Octobers" and Nike.. They tried to leverage his shoe to stock stores with less successful Nike design's and negotiate with him as IF his design wasn't of importance of value (which at the time was not the case)..... The issues of control and means of production on all levels was the main point I took from him.

For all his artistry Kanye knows nothing about business.......

And he's also a fukking hypocrite......

Nigo owns Bape..... Started it with his own money , dude didn't run to LVMH or NIKE begging to be put on.....

Kanye could start his label if he wanted to, his problem is that it's not about him starting a fashion label because he can do that, his problem is that the haute couture crowd won't let him in their club,

Dudes an idiot

He just seems to be completely unfiltered, if all of us just said exactly what we were thinking we would all sound crazy.
All that is cool, he's an entertainer after all.. But disrespecting people is something new, the fukk is he disrespecting people for.

Why do you think he wants to make urban ware like Nigo or just o business for the sake of money? Kanye has proved over and over again that money is not weighted as heavily in his artistry function as other rappers.

I see what he's saying about the fashion world, he's right but all I can say is suck it up princess, life's a bytch.

he wont make it to 40

dude is 100% on some serious drugs
lol no he's not.

What he is is stream of consciousness personified. Dude is just spilling thoughts. 99% of the time, dudes who think and talk like that are by nature just hard to understand IMO. Kanye talks in circles, rambles, etc, etc. Not a great communicator of his thoughts. But he's definitely thinking.

What an emo faq. :russ:

This c00n want to be accepted by high-class white so much, then play victim when they don't want his hyper-sensitive ass.

Those comparisons :laff:

Sway checked his ass when that hoe was throwing tantrum.

Obeezy got that nikka mad as fukk. :obama:

Kanye is a spoiled brat basically. He used to be chill, but now he's flipping his shyt like a teenage girl. Someone else in here said it, but the reason he's going crazy like this is because he's seeking white approval and he's not getting it. Dude needs to chill and remember how shyt was back in 05...enjoy life breh, it could be a lot worse. You'll never get that complete white acceptance, no matter how hard you c00n. You definitely won't as the "angry black guy"wearing skirts n shyt, so calm your shyt and quite raising your voice to Sway..

"We can turn these mics off" :russ:

first off,..a little critical thinking and a question.

how are you going to get white approval as a calm collective black male.
when you actually rocking a skirt.
that symbolizes some of the most general images of erratic drunk, vagabound guerilla based coup groups of all time.

how the fukk are you safe, for corporate america and you emulate the imagery.
that white America identifies with savagery.
where the kilt has not been revamped to the point, of the roman tunic.

someone please name an "urban" clothing line that has lasted over a decade. yeah we can talk about the black dollar and black consumerism, but what do we buy. Louis,YSL,Prada, Versace versace versace,........ if i pulled up rockin a basic Sean John Tee, u cats wuld shyt on me

those urban labels never built an actual culture that was substantial.
to justify them drawing for a much longer period of time.
or,...were aligned or created with artist who lacked cultural relevancy.

the problem with urban labels is they never kept to appealing to the actual culture.
in the vein, that those other actual clothing labels appeal to an actual culture.
when, I think polo...
I think yacht's and equestrian.
when I used to think about ecko it was graf.
now, when I think about marc ecko..
I think about a clothing line that went to far to get acceptance.
in a market, it originally never was made to appeal to.
that is why urban clothing designs and labels never last.
they are not built around an actual action or component of the culture legitimately.
they are a brand, built to revenue grab.
after playing the role....which is why they don't last and are virtually extinct.
when it comes to the original incarnation of those types of business.

part of the issue with black clothing designers is black people who do not and are not allowed to create or have a culture.
so, it is difficult to build a high fashion line built off of lifestyle.
when black people have never been able to be viable to financially create.
their own actual lifestyle that is independent of racial inequality or economic strife.
