So Kanye's failure to break into fashion can't possibly be due to the fact that he is an egomaniac? Or the fact that he feels entitled to overnight success that people have worked years, decades, centuries to cultivate? Or the possibility that he just isn't the "genius" he keeps screaming at everyone that he claims to be?

Who are "those"? What "infrastructural stand point" is giving Designer X shine that is keeping Kanye out? People keep speaking in these vague terms, but I know brehs in the fashion world who have launched their own brands. There is no "fashion illuminati" withholding materials or whatever the fukk people are talking about. You want to make something, you get your designs together, you get your capital together, you reach out to manufacturers, suppliers and distributors. OR, you build your own operations from the ground up and control everything. Kanye has done neither. He goes to companies that are already established, demands they take his designs, and then screams about some conspiracy when they decline. Like anyone who owns a company would just let someone from off the street come in and tell them what to sell and how to run their company.

Take your stan hat off and try and look at things from the point of view of the entities Kanye is dealing with. I don't care who you are or what you are. You can't walk into another nikka's house you have nothing to do with and start demanding he start doing what you want. But that is basically how Kanye has been dealing with these companies, from what he himself says.

From my point who's to say that he didn't do that. If you have all these other celebs that getting put into top tier position(Gaga with Polaroid, Swizz with Reebok, A. Keys with Blackberry ect.) without putting in some type of work with these products from a production stand point and work with companies that already establish like you said and he claims that he have of course he's gonna feel some type of way. If shyt was working out for him he probably would be quite and just focus on music, but since it's not he's spazzing out about it. He has build his ground up the platform is music, now he's trying to go another route.
Side note: who's your people that's launch their own brand?, i'm always interested in checking out something new to me.

Nike didn't violate, the air yeezy was nikes first collabo/endorsement with a non athlete so yeezy just did not have a lot of power coming to the table. He took what he could get, and it turned out bigger than anyone expected. Problem is Nike isn't really bending over backwards to drop another Collabo with him. To Nike wrongly or rightly Yeezy bought a couple ideas to the table but VanHook really designed the sneaker. Nike is used to working with Athletes who are hot for a few years then fall off, so they aren't really ready to start handing out all kinds of concessions just off the strength of yeezy's name. Now Kanye wants royalties and all kinds of other stuff to do more work with Nike, and they are like NO. I think he has a right to demand it, i applaud him for valuing himself, but at the end of the day they are the ones in the power position of the deal... he has to either take their terms or walk away.

I aint mad at yeezy, i wish him luck, but basically no one he wants to fukk with sees him in the same light he sees himself... so he is going to either have to do it on his own or take a lesser deal...

Yea but the Gaga, Reebok, A Keys deals are just surface level marketing. Like Gaga didn't go to Polaroid with a new film or whatever. But thats what it seems like Kanye wants to do in fashion. I dont think it's bizarre or whatever for him to meet resistance in that regard.

Check out Temple Of Jawnz. The name is silly but they make the best leather jackets I've ever seen/felt. Just 2 regular dudes who opened up a factory in Korea. They handle everything from the production to the distribution and they are pretty well respected in the fashion world. Ye gotta start from the bottom like everybody else.
