Sway was almost incredulous at the end.. He was basically asking Ye "Do you even like rap anymore?" :what:

Probably not. He keeps comparing his music to classic rock records.

:wow: at the thought of MBDTF being his 'Darkness on the Edge of Town' :ohlawd:

Brooklynnn!!!
but what is behaving normal for a top level artist?

People forget that not everyone is so consumed w/ being liked...it is actually about the art to some people. Its super rare in hip hop because everyone is a "hustler not a rapper".
Why would anyone want to think like everyone else? Everyone else is a critic, while a few people are actually doing. Its easy to say how so and so should behave when youre on the sidelines.

I heard the flip out part, is the full interview worth listening to?

When is a Kanye interview NOT worth listening to?

The problem with Ye is though he has a lot of good ideas and (for a successful pop artist) an incredible amount of ambition and drive, he does a terrible job of articulating his ideas and helping people relate to his creative struggles. The constant name-dropping of people like Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs is a great example of that; people don't know who those designers are, but they're big names in the world of high fashion. That's often what leads to the disconnect and people thinking he's crazy.

I get why he flipped out at Sway too. You can't ask a nikka like Kanye why he's trying to aim so high and just start small. Cats like Ye don't think that way. It's go big or go home with him.

Well that's what I mean. He always has interesting things to say, but I didn't know if the whole thing was a frustrating cluster fukk or just that segment.
